Ristorante Antica Trattoria Il Campano

I ordered the pasta Vongole, and I really loved it!! It was one of the better pastas I ever ate! If you are in Pisa, you should definitely go try it! The waitress (Rory) was super lovely and helpfull.

I was back in the area of Pisa where I grew up and found this place that was already there 40 years ago.
Great service, they took care of our dog nicely providing water and a suitable space.
Food was good and al fresco atmosphere was refreshing in the heat of Tuscan summer.
Recommended for a casual dinner with family and loved ones.

We were tipped by a local to go there for their famous ‘Fiorentina’ steak but ended up ordering all kinds of lovely starters and the Tagliata Di Manzo. Excellent service despite us being a messy table (two young kids). Our waitress was excellent! Great value for money!!!

Nice terrace in an airy square, with traditional Pisan cuisine. I was bit turned back first to eat in a quite touristic area, being myself from Barcelona, but the food and service was very nice. What we were not ready for was the gems in the wine card, we went for a 2001 Brancaia Blu... which was served at the right temperature, a challenge for a hot summer evening.

Food was amazing! If you’re not sure what to order, the Tuscana lasagne it’s the perfect choice. Enjoy!

Wonderful meal for the final night of our Tuscan holiday. Good range of dishes and super-friendly staff. The fillet steak dressed in a veil of lard was one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere in the little square as the day drew to a close was highly memorable, and it was a brilliant ending to our vacation. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely sensational, the cod was the best fish dish I'd ever eaten, and the wine was fantastic. Additionally the restaurant is a lovely place to sit, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful!

Nice food, nice staff and nice atmosphere, absolutely recommended!
The price is appropriate, we have spent about 40€ per person, not too cheap, not to pricey.

We asked for some vegetarian food and they offered us something out from the regular menu. Though the price was a little high we enjoyed the food and the service was good. Roary Made the experience nicer she’s an excellent waitress she offered us the best service

Great food! Delicious. We had tartare, pici and sirloin with rucola. Well prepared. I dropped a wine glass and immediately got a new one. ❤

We had an amazing time here. The food was good. The wine was excellent. Shout out to Rori!! It was very busy, buy she made our time marvelous.

Quick and friendly service. The staff were happy to assist with some questions we had about the food. We had the Tuscan beef and Cod, both were amazing. A nice change from all the pasta we’ve been having.

Very good local italian food with a familiar atmosphere. Great wine and a selection of grappa and delicious sweets.

We loved the food. Especially the bruschetta and the dishes from the truffle menu. Service was a bit rushed but alright. We would definitely go back.

This place is a gem. The food was exquisite. For our starter we shared the truffle trio - the cheese was to die for - and the artichoke salad - one of the most delicious salads I have eaten in my life. Next, I had the Tuscan bean soup. Oh. My. Goodness.

The staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating too. My friend has a gluten allergy and they were able to recommend some fantastic dishes that wouldn't make her explode, and even brought her some rice cakes while my sister and I tucked into the bread. Speaking of "my sister and I", we are both vegetarian and ate very well here.

Lastly (well, almost) the wine was excellent and inexpensive.

You should absolutely get a reservation cause they are always booked. The prices are a little bit expensive 2 pizza’s (with burrata di Buffalo) 2 drinks + table ~45€
