Istituto Lama Tzong Khapa

One of the most incredible places I have ever been to. I participated in Summer School organised in cooperation with University of Pisa. An incredible experience in a wonderful setting. Institute facilities are very good. Cafeteria offers Italian classics but in vegetarian versions. Great place to be.

Wonderful place - the building and the nature are “physical” highlights. Short or long term, you will certainly find a course for your level of knowledge. Pomaia and Castellina villages in the neighborhood are also beautiful little towns.

Best time ever! All the people that are there take the extra mile to make you feel not only taken care off but happy too! Love the atmosphere, peace and tranquillity. A must place to visit in that area of Tuscany! The best coffee in town! Love the store too!

If you are would like learn more about Tibetan Buddhism, Istituto Lama Tzong Khapa is the largest and oldest Tibetan center and monastery in Europe, if not in the Western world. It is part of the FPMT (Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition) and was founded by Lama Thubten Yeshe and the spiritual director Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche.

Definitely an amazing place to rest in quiet and peace, to meditate and learn news about Buddhism.

Wundervoller Ort für eine spirituelle Reise. Es gibt viele einladende Gelegenheiten zum Verweilen und Meditieren. Sei es in den Räumlichkeiten oder in der näheren Umgebung. Natürlich sind Familien willkommen und das Gelände bietet interessante Dinge rund um das Zentrum für Groß und Klein zu entdecken. Angeschlossen ist auch eine kleine Gastronomie mit Souvenirs und allerhand Räucherwaren und Büchern.

Per me è come essere a casa. Una volta varcate le "colonne" all'entrata è come se vi spogliaste dai pesi che quotidianamente portiamo con noi. Un luogo che spontaneamente fa fluire dentro se stessi e allo stesso tempo aprirci agli altri. Il viale alberato conduce ad un "castello", dove i colori delle bandierine tibetane, degli stupa e dei simboli che rappresentano le diverse divinità vi lasceranno meravigliati come bambini. Da vedere ma soprattutto da "vivere".

Meraviglioso. Non ho altro da aggiungere. Qualitatá degli insegnamenti e dei corsi molto elevata. Senza contare la bellezza del luogo dove la natura sembra quasi avere il sopravvento.. sono andata via dopo tre giorni a malincuore e con il desiderio di tornare il prima possibile.
