Excellent food. Very high quality service. Matteo knew perfect English and was very helpful and taught me some helpul Italian phrases. He also gave us fantastic food and wine recommendations. Five star, would highly recommend.

I highly recommend to make this a food destination! Yes make your trip so that you must stop here to try these amazing dishes. The owners are from Puglia and Capri I can’t think of a better pairing to be presented on dishes. I cannot wait to be back over and over again to try those amazing creative and just freaking delicious seasonal dishes! A really unforgettable dining experience.

Osteria il tumma is great.. the staff (waiter and chef) are so attentive and offered so much help to us, who don't speak Italian at all. We were allowed to wait in the restaurant before opening time, the waiter patiently explained the menu to us in English, the chef offered to create a tasting platter of all the antipasti, and even offered to split our food to in two dishes knowing that we are sharing food.

Together, we had the crispy octopus, the pasta with radish leaves and anchovy cream, tuna with peach cream, and a braised beef. Every dish looks nicer in real life than the picture suggests only because the ambience of the restaurant is so calm and beautiful.

This was one of the best food experiences we had in Italy. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Our waiter took his time to explain every dish on the menu. We will definitely come back.

A fantastic meal on our final day in Terlizzi. The pasts, seafood and desserts were to die for.

Mateo was an incredible waiter. He was kind and had patience. He explained all of the dishes to us. The food was brilliant best mozzarella amino have to make a stop.

Very good food and the owners were very welcoming and friendly and genuinely care about their customers. Could not recommend it more highly. My wife had a “basic” pasta with tomatoes and we both thought it was one of the most tasty pastas we ever had.

We just had an amazing dinner at il tumma! Our waiter was so kind and made us feel so comfortable. Also the chef made 95% of the menu gluten free. We can definitely recommend il tumma. Thanks for the nice evening, your delicious food and your hospitality!

Top three in all our Puglia meals and we ate at a couple Michelin spots. The food here is delicious and has a ton of soul. The cavatelli w/ mussels was to die for. A great spot for an amazing meal in a charming town.

We are visiting from Houston, TX. We have been in the area for a week and most of restaurants were so touristic and tasteless. This place was amazing, very authentic (we are Italian), delicious food. A true southern Italian experience.

This is probably the best restaurant in Terlizzi. It is a quiet place where you can try delicious food at affordable prices. The biggest advantage of the restaurant is exceptionally nice and helpful stuff. They do their best to make you happy about the food and atmosphere. Thank you!

Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante di ritorno dalla vacanza in Salento, comodissimo da raggiungere vista la vicinanza all'uscita dell'autostrada.
Abbiamo mangiato 2 antipasti eccellenti: la parmigiana e la terrina composta da pomodoro, burrata e fioroni (ricavati dal fico d'india) una specialità del periodo e del posto.
Fantastici anche i primi piatti! I fusilli del prete apparentemente semplici erano conditi con ingredienti di altissima qualità che li hanno resi davvero gustosi.
Ho salvato questa osteria tra i miei posti preferiti e farò in modo di tornarci.
