Excellent experience! Incredibly friendly staff and was one of the best meals we had during our 3 weeks in Italy. One of the owners speaks great English (originally from UK) and was happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. Pricing is VERY reasonable and for what you get it's a damn bargain. Well worth the 30 minute drive from our Villa to find this place. Will come back!

I would come back to this village just for this restaurant. I was not expecting a "Michelin-quality" food here, but here it is with great local ingredients and brilliant chefs, I had one of the best restaurant experience (I eat out quite a lot in Tokyo and Copenhagen). Great pasta, truffle from the nearby forrest, Porchetta and lamb were to-die-for. Brilliant wine menu and very friendly and charming staff, noticeably the chef speaks very English English. For non-Italian speakers, I strongly encourage you to stay in this village and have a meal here, feel the spirit of Montemarano.

We have been in Montemarano for 3 days and have already been to vincanto twice. We already can’t wait to go back a couple more times to try everything on the menu. Everything my family and I tried has been an amazing dish. Claudio is kind, welcoming and like a friend. The food is the real star of the show, just like nonna used to cook.

Excellent local seasonal dishes. We dined here yesterday and have to say that it was immensely enjoyable - filled with the autumnal flavors of the seasonal ingredients and with dishes that highlight the area's traditions. The staff was friendly and courteous, as well as personable and engaging, explaining some of the dishes we didn't know well, helping us more enjoy the flavors of the Alta Irpinia.

The owner/chef Claudio returned to his family land and is dedicated to his home town and area, and his passion shows through. (He also speaks perfect English from his time in England.) The ambiance is lovely Old-World style, and the overall experience was top notch. Places like this need to be rewarded with more guests who seek out the local-oriented and time-honored culinary traditions.

Vincanto’s was an 11/10 experience. The food was perfect, the service was incredible, the wine was beautiful, Claudio was such a Gentleman aswell. Thank you for such a great meal.

I visited VinCanto with my family while exploring Montemarano. We were greeted immediately from Claudio who took extremely good care of us. The restaurant is classy, yet comfortable. The food was amazing. Besides what we ordered, the chef sent out local favorites that blew us away. We tried home made ricotta cheese with honey, incredible cured meets and cheese, superb pasta and sauces and fantastic main courses. I would (and will) return.

Excellent experience. We got to the place by complete chance, running away from touristic over rated amalfi - sorento.we entered the lovely restaurant, warmly greeted, had the best meal we had in italy during our vacation. The carpaccio was tasty, the pastas excellent, and even the desert. They were very nice. It was an excelkent experience. If you are near there - try it! I believe you have to reserve, the restaurant got completely full.

Great location and tipycal dishes personalised with super tasty amd fresh local products! Kind and professional hosts and valuable local wine Aglianico. A place not to miss, I will come back for sure, thank you again!

Cucina tipica con prodotti selezionati e, soprattutto, freschi. Ottima accoglienza, il personale è molto disponibile a spiegare bene le pietanze e a consigliarle. Ho trovato tutto molto buono e ben curato, dall'antipasto al dolce. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Locale situato nel centro di Montemarano, ben curato, tanta attenzione ai dettagli. Ci siamo stati una domenica a pranzo, menù con ampia scelta, cibo di ottima qualità, personale disponibile e cordiale. Abbiamo provato tutti e quattro i primi piatti, eccezionali. Secondi altrettanto gustosi. Consiglio la lasagna di zucchine, i paccheri con i funghi e la porchetta. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.
Ci torneremo sicuramente.
