We stumbled upon Ristorante Pizzeria Amici Miei in Capo D’ Orlando during our search for lunch. The friendly staff welcomed us warmly, and the well-arranged table settings added to the pleasant ambiance. The black-and-white movie pictures on the walls gave the place a nostalgic feel. The food was exceptional, and the prices reasonable. A definite recommendation for lunch or dinner.”

We came across Amici Miei by accident as we were walking past on our evening passeggiata. Kate has been yearning for a Spaghetti alla Norma ever since we arrived in Sicily. I checked the menu, Norma was available and they had a nice outside table available so we took the opportunity.
The food was an all round delight. For starters, we ordered an Affumicata salad (topped with the most delightful roasted peppers) and some Bruschetta Al Pomodoro.

Kate’s large serving of Spaghetti alla Norma arrived and she actually managed to finish it all. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe spaghetti. Another big delicious serving which I almost finished.

I appreciated the extra condiments on the table, especially the pepper mill and olive oil. It enabled me to tune the starters to my tastes.

Kate and I enjoy finding a restaurant and arriving with no expectation and then walking away after the meal very satisfied.

I can’t forget to mention the excellent service we received. The waiter/waitress visited each table to make sure that everything was ok.

Wonderful little restaurant with great pasta and pizza. After several years living in Sicily, I have become more picky about Italian cuisine. Everything was perfect. The staff and friendly and very helpful. I can imagine I being very busy during peak season. Great Experience!

Great experience. They were completely booked but we were desperate and they let us eat before the rush. Very friendly service. The pizzas were fantastic - crusts enhanced with polenta to make them crispier - and the spaghetti cacio pepe was first class. Very recommended, but in the summer season you need to book.

One of the best places to eat in Sicily.Cooking is really next level, owner and workers are really nice. An authentic Italian cuisine experience.For us it was the best we ever had in Sicily.This is why also trip advisor awarded them.

Very fresh food. The service is exceptional, and excellent wine recommendations. I had a delicious pasta. My family had insalata mare, the seafood is beautiful, so fresh. I hear the pizzas are delicious, so we’ll be back.

Ieri sera abbiamo cenato da Amici miei dopo una passeggiata sul bellissimo lungomare di Capo d'Orlando che ci ha regalato anche un tramonto dai dolci ed emozionanti colori. Che dire: la Sig.ra Rita che ci ha accolti la consiglierei alle aziende che volessero formare il proprio personale in termini di customer care tanto è stata gentile, accogliente, simpatica e Professionale. Pizza eccellente e Pepata di Cozze gustosissima il tutto a costi più che onesti. Auguro ogni bene al ristorante Amici miei. Ad maiora. Salvo da Catania

Scelto questo locale dalle recensioni, più di 500 - 4,7. Arrivati il locale era strapieno, il titolare ci dice che entro mezz'oretta avremmo avuto il tavolo per poter mangiare. La tempistica si allunga, ma a sorpresa nasce un feeling tra noi e il titolare, il socio e il resto del personale molto coinvolgente, rendendo il tempo di attesa praticamente nullo.
Mentre ordiniamo il socio (o titolare) ci consiglia: spaghetti cacio e pepe con tartare di gamberi di Marzara e grattatina di limone, lì prendiamo in due...non commento! Vi dico solamente di provarli... ECCEZZIONALI!
Le ragazze, si fa per dire, prendono la pizza, anche quella molto buona, il tutto accompagnato da un vino bianco frizzantino locale molto gradevole. Al momento di pagare altra sorpresa, pagato € 66,00 di una porzione abbondante di patatine, 2 spaghetti, 2 pizze, un piatto di croste di pizza con sale olio e scorza di limone, 1 bottiglia di vino più altri 3 bicchieri, 1 minerale e 3 caffè .
N.b. bottiglia e caffè gentilmente offerti per il disguido.
Conclusione: cortesia, ospitalità e qualità da 5 stelle

Waren heute hier zu zweit essen. Super lecker zu wirklich fairen Preisen. Wir waren die einzigen nicht-Italiener, also eher ein Geheimtipp. Der Chef ist ebenfalls sehr nett und sprach überraschenderweise sogar deutsch. Sehr zu empfehlen!
