Villa La Gaeta

Stayed there a few years ago for an anniversary - inside it is apartments of which (at the time) two could be rented. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in both the villa and the Lake Como area, beautiful scenery good food and wine locally available - walkable but a car or bike would be recommended.

Landed here with the motorcycle during a thunderstorm the other day and felt welcome for the night.

Nice hotel, simple yet beautiful room and very friendly young staff.

Would recommend.

Beautiful villa

James Bond 007 estuvo igual que yo, aunque yo no pude entrar al ser privado, mi astucia consiguió hacer unas bonitas fotos y con mis respecto espero que sus dueños no les haya molestado por mostrar esta belleza, donde un fan de James Bond disfrutó muchísimo

Vistosa villa in stile neomedioevale con commistioni Liberty, realizzata dagli eclettici architetti Adolfo e Gino Coppedè sul "capo La Gaeta", il promontorio da cui prese il nome.

Commissionata da Solone Ambrosoli, venne ultimata dai suoi eredi, che la abitarono per un certo tempo per poi cederla, per gli elevati costi, a una società che la trasformò in hotel di lusso.

Divenne in seguito un complesso di appartamenti per vacanze; nel 2006 comparve come come set nel film "Casinò Royale", e infine ceduta a privati che ne ricavarono un lussuoso condominio.

Anche se classificata "attrazione turistica" è di proprietà privata e pertanto non visitabile.

NON E' UN HOTEL!
O, almeno, non lo è più da tempo, come già segnalato in più recensioni.

Non si capisce perché google abbia ancora questa descrizione ingannevole... la villa è bella, la posizione incantevole, ma è una casa privata e non si può visitare!

Sehr schönes Haus in den mal ein Bond Teil gedreht wurde.. toller Garten. Kann man mieten wenn man genug Kohle hat.....
Kann man nicht besichtigen!
Super Lage. Direkt am Uferweg (Rad oder zu Fuss) gelegen. Leider muss man 1x ca. 80m durch den Straßentunnel.

Pěkná vila , moc toho sice neuvidíte, vila je mezi tunely, nedá se tam pořádně zastavit, nejbližší místo k parkování je obec Nobiallo, cca 1,5 km od vily.potim po cyklostezce .

So per certo che questa villa non è un hotel ma è suddivisa i appartamenti privati.
La villa comunque è veramente unica
