This restaurant is a hidden gem and well worth the drive! Beautiful scenery, and wonderful food eaten on a beautiful terrace. Our hostess spoke enough English to explain the menu well and everything we ate was delicious. Can’t speak more highly of it If you are staying in the Anghiari area, you must visit!

Simply the best food we had ever had in Italy, the staff were welcoming and friendly, such an amazing place to dine in. Very cosy and romantic. Food ingredients were fresh and delicious.

A wonderful spot in the countryside, full of character and with outstanding views. The tomato’s were so fresh and the mushrooms were so delightful.

This restaurant is simply superb. The ingredients are so fresh and well selected. The chef is innovative without being pretentious. The tastes are wonderful. The service is fantastic. I especially love the way old favourites are reinvented with a new twist without losing the heritage. This place deserves to be supported by everyone in the area and I hope this review encourages visitors to try it. Very highly recommended.

We had lunch at this amazing place. "Slow Food" certified you are sure to get the freshest, organic and tasty food possible. The service was fantastic and we loved the little touches like giving a full ripe organic tomatoes, salt and fresh oil instead of a basket of bread. (You still get the bread). We sat out on thw terrace because it was summer but there is also inside dining.

It is about 2 km off a main road but it is well signed. It was open for lunch on Sat and Sunday although the listing here said closed.

If you are in the area or even want a nice day trip for an excellent meal, you really need to put this on yiurnlost of must visit!

Mi ho trovato molto bene. Si vede che il chef è bravo, complimenti, ho mangiato bene. Una cosa sola che non mi è piaciuta - i prezzi, sono alti.

È stata una piacevole sorpresa, mi sono fatta attrarre da nome, per la serie dei cartoni animati 😂, a pochi km da Arezzo fiori Anghiari, si trova questo posto davvero incantevole con una vista molto bella, l'accoglienza mi è piaciuta molto, anche il posto l'ho trovato davvero caldo e accogliente. Per non parlare del cibo, davvero di alta qualità, tutti i piatti sono molto particolari e buonissimi, ci hanno coccolato con l'assaggio dell'olio nuovo con delle bruschette di pane caldo e croccante. Se volete passare una domenica particolare in un posto magico e assaggiare pietanze fuori dal comune ve lo consiglio, dopo pranzo potete fare una bella passeggiata nel borgo di Anghiari. Premetto che quando si va a mangiare in questi posti non bisogna guardare ai prezzi.

Scovato per caso vagando per le strade tra Umbria e Toscana, Il Cappello di Paglia ci è sembrato subito un'oasi di pace e buon cibo. Il luogo incantevole, curato nei dettagli fa da cornice ad una cucina dai sapori delicati e gustosi.
Accoglienza e gentilezza dei proprietari completano la sosta che avremmo voluto non finisse mai.

Piccolo ristorante a conduzione familiare. Una volta trovato, ti accorgi della location eccezionale. Sito a circa 500 metri di altezza, qui puoi gustare i piatti che lo chef prepara con mille attenzioni per accontentare gli avventori. Posso dire di aver passato una splendida serata, degustando piatti particolari e buonissimi, dall'antipasto al dolce. Prezzi nella media, soprattutto per la cena di San Silvestro. Assolutamente da provare, ma ricordati di prenotare.

Appena lasciata la SS73, il navigatore potrebbe indicarvi una strada fangosa decisamente molto disagevole: seguite piuttosto i cartelli che indicano il ristorante, c'è ancora un po' di strada da fare, ma ne vale la pena. Solo alla fine del percorso c'è un po' di sterrato, ma assolutamente tranquillo.

Menu giusto con poche portate ma tutte ottime. Posto panoramico, sala pochi coperti (scelta ottima) ambiente intimo, proprietari gentili e competenti, cantina semplice ma buona. Ma sopratutto cucina ottima con ingredienti locali senza le fughe in avanti dei grandi chef. Prezzi appena sopra la media per la zona ma equi.
Ci torno sempre molto volentieri.
