Incredible museum in the most magnificent location! The museum is not too big but everything is extremely well curated with a mix of exhibits and interactive displays. It’s all very informative. If you’re a photographer, you do not want to miss this place.

The panoramic views from the museum are breathtaking and worth visiting alone. You can also sit in the restaurant located in the same building and watch people ski.

You can purchase admission tickets at the bottom of the ski lift near the big parking lot. You do not need reservations!

The museum Lumen is really interesting, just the fact that is situated at 2265 meters, at the summit Kronplatz. There are many interactive activities, hidden corners, 4 floors, cool lift and an amazing glass window where you can sit in one of the armchairs and get lost in the view. I particularly like the flight in the helicopter and the never ending room of mirrots. The photographs that are on display are amazing. Definitely worth visiting especially use your free ticket (buses, trains and museums) and get in for free. The only small setback is that it is so warm inside. There are lockers but you are in your ski boots, and it is really warm.

Very nice and interesting museum. I appreciate the fact that the curators actually tried to make the exhibition interactive and use modern technology to bring immersive experience to the visitors. The space of the museum is well structured. You can learn new information and admire the history of photography. I really enjoyed our visit here.

This is a six star museum for its location, content, and incredibly designed exhibits. I’m speechless, never mind skiing to its front door. Be sure to eat at the equally mind blowing restaurant next door.

Perfectionist environment for events, including weddings. The constant exhibition is must see for the rich educational exhibits and for the aesthetics of the internal architecture and design.

Wonderful and top level museum in one of the best scenery location of all Dolomites!
This museum is a must see attraction in the Kronplatz!
Aside from the exhibition itself that definitely worth a visit, the architecture and the scenery are stunning.
There is a wonderful restaurant cafeteria with a hanging terrace overlooking the Alps. Simply spectacular!

Super cool museum with original and striking exhibitions. Nice blend of info on early photography and mountaineering. The VR sets are in need of repair though, as they are glitchy.

We were supposed to hike from hut to hut on Monday 9/4/2023, but there was lightning and rain, so instead we shuttled to the base of this mountain and rode the gondola up to visit the two museums. A surprising number of great photos of mountains and people climbing them.

One of the best photography museum I’ve ever visited and a fantastic attraction per se. And the best thing is ... that at the end of the visit you are right on one of the most exciting ski slopes in the alps (Sylvester, Kronplatz)

Better than expected. Free lockers for backpacks and other at the entrance. Visit takes around 1h30. Very informative content. Suitable even for kids 8yo and above. Ground floor + 3 floors. Facility also has a lift in case. Ticket can be combined with Messner museum.
