Combined ticket with the mountain photography museum was excellent value. Both super interesting

I visited MMM Corones because it was designed by the architect Zaha Hadid, but ended up finding the displays and views very interesting. Knowing nothing about mountaineering, the short video on loop about the exploits of Messner was informative. The art and sculptures were well selected, there is a small gift shop as well. Short walk from the godola style chair lift.

Amazing experience. The tram to get there takes quite a while but it is definitely worth it. There are a few places to eat at the top. Overall a very nice place to visit even if you're not going skiing.

Very interesting even if you don’t know anything about mountaineering. Should note - unless you’re a very serious hiker, you’ll need the cable car up and down (museum not accessible by car). This adds €28 to the €12 museum ticket, although there is a lot more to do at the summit than just the museum, so I’d argue it’s worth it.

A modern museum about the history of Alpine climbing. I recommend visiting it before sunset, as it offers spectacular views of the Dolomite crown.

Great museum for both mountaineering enthusiasts and noobs who just want to explore new stuff and admire art. I appreciate the architecture and the stunning views all around. It is definitely worth visiting. By the way, you can get a combo ticket for the cable car + museums (Corones and Lumen) for a decent price.

When you're on a trip to the Dolomites the MMM Corones is a must see!
It offers unique and mesmerizing views of the great mountain walls of the Dolomites and the Alps. If you want to get to know something about traditional mountaineering - you won't be disappointed - this is the right place for you. It's a once in a lifetime experience to stand outside on top of the most magnificent viewing platform in South Tyrol! We really enjoyed our visit here.

Amazing landscape and architecture at over 2000 meters. I’ve been there in 2017, and it’s the only place I’m longing to come back ever since. Great enduro trails, lots of Dolomites at once, kind people and unique nature. The museum itself is a piece of art, blended into the mountain stones, it’s like a moon base on Earth. Definitely worth a visit to know more about the mountains and learn about the respect for those steep, rocky slopes.

Stunning architecture by Zaha Hadid which really maximises the views you can see eastwards from Kronplatz! The museum itself is also great - offering an insight into all things mountaineering. Definitely a must-see if you’re visiting Kronplatz!

World class mountaineering museum built into the mountains. Architecturally spectacular. Even on a foggy cold day.

Should visit it with Lumen museum, the place looks like a spaceship, interior is amazing but rather small, the visit would take you 30-40min maximum

Worth going there for Messner museum! Exceptional architecture with beautiful views (even when it’s snowing :)).
Also you can sometimes meet Reinhold when he’s talking about his expeditions - worth every money!
