Dolomit Family Resort

We have spent a fantastic week in the hotel. Food is amazing and snacks are basically available during the whole day. The view is beautiful, rooms are super convenient and well equipped.
A lot of things can be done in the area. Pool temperature is perfect for kids too. Garden and playground is well maintained.
Of course not a cheap place but comparatively good value in this category.
Kudos to the owners and the staff. I am sure we will come back.

We have spent 5 days in Dolomit Family resort this August 2023 and have really enjoyed our stay. Room (Dolomit Family suite-num.28) was huge with great views, 3 terraces and perfectly equipped. Food was high quality (specially evening meals) and great choice. The atmosphere was great, staff is super friendly and helpful. There are many activities for kids. On top of the hotel activities there are many activities organized by Rasun tourist office which are offered at the hotel as well. The spa is also great and massagist Carmen is an amazing professional. Luis the hotel manager is a great professional, always trying to help; he lead a great sparkling wine tasting at hotel bar which we really enjoyed

This is a fantastic all inclusive hotel for family with children- it is a small paradise where children can have fun while parents relax. The location is great for exploring the area (there are even tours organized by the hotel), the hotel stuff is super helpful and smiling and the food is beyond tasty- especially the dinner 4 course menu was exceptional. There is animation program for the kids, little farm and outdoor playground. We would love to come back in the future.

I rarely post reviews but this one is surely due.
I have just gotten back from this wonderful resort for children. I was travelling alone with 2 boys aged 7 and 3, the younger one is a VERY tricky child. I knew what I was looking for: assistance with the kids, ski lessons for the 7 yo and a baby club for the little one. Before going I called multiple times to understand how to manage 2 kids 1 of which loves to ski while the other one hates the sbow. They reassured me and provided me with details on how to manage. They provided me with details for the ski school, which was coming to pick up the child from the hotel and eventually drive him back. I asked for a larger room which was gicen to me without an extra fee (much appreciated). We arrived andediately they kindly assisted us, the room was actually an apartment, anything you may need for a child of any age is there. Signed up for skiing lessons at the hotel (fantastic experience there as well), meals were F A N T A S T I C, the mini club is extremely well organised, it can host children of any age in spaces which are designed for them, anything from a mini pool table to lego, animals, doll houses, tons of cars, a climbing wall etc. The main childcare person is lovely, she really knows how to deal with children and is truly fantastic. My eldest came back from skiing and immediately went down to the miniclub where he had made friends (and normalyl he takes a lot of time to do so), the little one adored the space. There are also mini heated pools for children with animals and a slide, a larger heated pool and a spa which I really did not have the time to use. It has been an incredible ex9erience, normally I am wracked when travelling alone with my kids but this one has been the most relaxing holiday in years and all because of this wonderful place. The food is to die for, the staff friendly and helpful. We are already planning to go back.
Ps. I was a little concerned about not being directly on the skiing implant but at the end it really did not matter at all. We had breakfast (with anything you may even remotely dream of) then the 7 yo was picked uo from the hall of the hotel by the ski school, I dropped the other one off at the baby club and off I went for my daily skiing, only 10 mins drive. The parking is attached to the hall so very very easy. You do not need to be ON the skiing implant, can drop your skiing equipment at the bottom or top of the mountain for the days you are plannung on skiing and pick them up on the same day, can also rent them from the skiing school. Children will also drop off their equipment at the skiing school so really really really hassle free. look no further, this is THE place!

Ok, let's go through the negatives quickly because they are only a few and not so significant. Someone mentioned flies on TripAdvisor. Yes, there are some flies and they could put in some screens to limit them flying into rooms and the hotel. On the other hand, this is nature and there are animals on the premises, so you can expect some flies I suppose.

Now, onto the positives. This is an absolutely amazing family hotel. Everything is done to make you and your kids feel at home. There is a huge kids zone for children of all ages and all-day babysitting with very friendly staff. Our daughter (2.5) absolutely loved it there despite not yet attending any pre-school back home and usually being attached just to Mom.

The views of the alps from the hotel are stunning and there is a brand-new health and fitness center where you can work-out, get a massage(for a fee) or go for a steam or sauna session.

Food is available throughout the day and is generally of high quality. There are tons of things for children and babies - all the things you would want from Hipp, baby food, snacks, wipes, etc. are available all day for free. There is an open salad bar as well. The only thing lacking is a hot meal for adults at lunch, just soup and one buffet meal, but this seems to be the standard all around the area and the hotel is completely open about it. Finally the dinner is excellent. Four courses excluding the salad and very tasty. The only odd thing is that the courses are completely unrelated, which did not bother us. Alcohol is extra and ranges from 5 EUR for a big beer to about 7-9 EUR for wines. Something we expected.

Did I mention the pool? Both indoor and outdoor plus a baby pool, open till 8pm.

We will surely be going back to this hotel in the near future.

Great staff, nice rooms, fun program for the kids and families, tasty and beautiful food and super service at the restaurant! Plus so many options for fun outings in the nearby area during the stay. We're coming again!

Third year in a row. Absolutely loved our experience. The hotel, the staff, the room and the food are all wonderful! We definitely recommend.

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana perfetta in questa struttura a fine maggio, insieme a nostro figlio di 3 anni e mezzo. L'accoglienza, l'attenzione ai dettagli, la qualità del cibo e la pulizia erano impeccabili. Sebbene la zona spa/relax non fosse molto ampia, era curata e confortevole, con asciugamani e tisane sempre a disposizione. Il baby club era un vero e proprio asilo, con personale attento e capace di coinvolgere i bambini in diverse attività secondo un programma settimanale diviso per fasce d'età. Inoltre, venivano organizzate anche varie escursioni, visite e pranzi per i genitori. La struttura metteva a disposizione gratuitamente biciclette elettriche con seggiolini o carrelli, passeggini e marsupi. In sintesi, per noi è stata una vacanza ASSOLUTAMENTE PERFETTA, in cui i genitori possono rilassarsi senza preoccupazioni perché tutto è curato nel minimo dettaglio.
Non vediamo l'ora di ritornarci.

Das freundliche Personal, die sauberen und geräumigen Zimmer sowie die zahlreichen Aktivitäten für Kinder und Erwachsene haben unseren Familienurlaub unvergesslich gemacht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das hochwertige Frühstücksbuffet sowie die sensationelle Menüauswahl am Abend. Das abwechslungsreiche Tagesprogramm sowie die Lage des Hotels sind perfekt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir sind nun das zweite Jahr in Folge hier und werden auch ganz sicher nächstes Jahr wiederkommen.
Ein wunderbares Familienhotel, was mit Herzblut geführt wird!
Die Zimmer, das Personal, das Essen - hier stimmt alles.
Für Kinder und Eltern einfach ein Paradies und es wird auf jeden Wunsch eingegangen.

Che dire al Dolomit Family resort ti fanno sentire a casa. La struttura è calda ed accogliente ed offre veramente tutto il necessario ad accogliere famiglie con bambini così da soddisfare tutte le necessità dei più piccoli sia in camera che nel resto della struttura, mettendo a disposizione veramente tutto ciò che può servire per fronteggiare le richieste dei piccini e che può risultare scomodo portarsi dietro da casa. Le camere sono pulite ed accoglienti, super silenziose e, nonostante ci siano bambini praticamente in tutte, non si percepisce la presenza di altri ospiti anche nelle ore notturne, ed inoltre sono dotate di tutti i comfort. Un plauso allo staff, dalla titolare, sempre presente e pronta ad accogliere ogni richiesta, ai camerieri in sala, attenti e puntuali, alla reception, al personale del nido, alle pulizie, ed in particolare al responsabile della sala sempre in elegante vestito blu, solare ed accomodante. I servizi forniti sono di assoluto livello, sempre affiancati dalla corrispondente versione per bambini. L'offerta gastronomica è variegata, affianco al classico buffet a scelta (praticamente disponibile quasi durante tutto l'arco della giornata) si inserisce poi la proposta serale per la cena, che per gli adulti offre una cucina moderna e ricercata pur senza estremizzare eccessivamente, davvero ben bilanciata dalle porzioni che possono sembrare minute ai più affamati ma che sono decisamente adeguate per il tipo di cucina (e ad ogni modo possono sempre essere arricchite con altre pietanze dal buffet). In particolare l'aspetto culinario mi ha davvero sorpreso in positivo anche perché in alcune recensioni consultate prima di prenotare la struttura qualche cliente lamentava la poca quantità, ma oggettivamente mi sento di sconfessare apertamente la cosa in quanto l'offerta alimentare risulta sempre abbondante. La struttura è poi ubicata in posizione strategica, permette di raggiungere tutte le principali località circostanti e gli impianti rapidamente a patto di muoversi in auto. In mancanza possono sempre utilizzarsi i mezzi pubblici (efficienti) per i quali la struttura all'arrivo mette a disposizione un ticket settimanale gratuito valido per tutti i mezzi pubblici della regione. Infine i programmi e le attività suggerite ed organizzate dalla struttura sono sempre aggiornate ogni settimana e contribuiscono ad arricchire notevolmente il soggiorno. Decisamente consigliato, ci torneremo sicuramente.
