Residenza Borgo Valpolicella

We cannot recommend this place highly enough, best of the best!

We have stayed here last September 2020 for three nights and were wishing we have stayed way, way longer. We had the entire 'Romeo' apartment for ourselves. The apartment has everything you need, it is spacious enough and beautifully decorated. Car parking was made available a couple meters down the road, and a breakfast basket was provided.
We especially loved the terrace with amazing views over the village and the region. In fact, the terrace was so beautiful we got engaged right there.

This was our second time in Valpolicella, and the region is one of our favorites for its amazing wines, landscape, local cuisine, hills and mountains and of course the Garda lake and Verona nearby. We fell in love with the beautiful village of San Giorgio with its marble, the old stones, the quietness, the rustic church and the charming piazza and its views. The restaurants here are of genuine good quality with local cuisine and the piazza bar is a nice place for a Aperol Spritz's as laid-back aperitivo in the weekend.

Lastly we would like to thank Monica and Gabriele again for their hospitality and kindness. The village and the apartment have now become a very special place for us which we will cherish forever. We will return soon!

Siamo stati 2 giorni in questo appartamento BELLISSIMO, con arredo nuovo e contemporaneo, cucina attrezzata e soprattutto un caminetto grandioso. Lo abbiamo utilizzato due giorni consecutivi per scaldarci, cucinare e creare un ambiente davvero caldo e romantico. L'appartamento inoltre è situato nel centro di San Giorgio, con vista sulle colline e sulla chiesa. I proprietari sono delle persone squisite, gentilissime, disponibile: ci hanno riforniti di legna e sono stati molto presenti, esaudendo ogni nostra richiesta. Gli abbiamo fatto mille domande (dove sono i supermercati? qual è il macellaio migliore? dov'è il mercato contadino?. Ci hanno consigliato un ottimo ristorante (Osteria n.1) e abbiamo avuto anche il piacere di bere un bicchiere in loro compagnia, con l'occasione di conoscerli meglio: sono una coppia davvero onesta, super gentile e degli ottimi padroni di casa. Ci torneremo sicuramente e speriamo che sempre più albergatori seguano il loro esempio: sono persone come loro a valorizzare al meglio lo splendido territorio in cui viviamo.

Alloggio accogliente e pulitissimo, piccolo ma dotato di ogni confort,e con grabde attenzione per i particolari con una terrazza meravigliosa.. Non vedo l ora di tornarci, energia del Borgo e della residenza indimenticabili.. Monica e Gabriele host fantastici, disponibili e attenti alle necessità dell ospite senza essere invadenti.. Che dire, consigliatissimo

Außergewöhnlich herzlicher und höflicher Kontakt vor der Anreise, während des Aufenthalts und noch nach der Abreise mit den Vermietern. Aufrichtig an der Zufriedenheit der Gäste interessiert. Late Check Out möglich. Die Lage des Hauses, der regionale typische Baustil die geschmackvolle Einrichtung, die Ruhe des Umfelds waren beeindruckend und haben die Buchung gerechtfertigt. Bei Ankunft war Erstausstattung mit Gebäck, Milch, Wasser, frischen Erdbeeren etc. zum kostenlosen Verzehr bereitgestellt. Frühstück mit Morgensonne, da Terrasse perfekt mit Ost-Süd-Ausrichtung überdacht vorhanden. Selten: gute Matratzen. Ordentlicher Wasserdruck in der Dusche. WLAN schwächelt zwar bei mehr als 2 Geräten aber hey, es war Urlaub. Kostenloser Pkw Stellplatz mit dabei. Für uns (Familie) war es einfach überragend.
