Holy smokes this place is good! It's not just for pizza either. We requested a reservation but like most restaurants it seems, they were not very busy. I had Ravioli with butternut squash and it melted in my mouth. My husband had a mixed grilled fish plate that was enough for two. Everything about the meal was incredible. Service was quick and professional. The restaurant seems small but it's really quite large. I cannot recommend this place enough! It's worth the short trip to eat there.

The atmosphere was great. We loved the Playlist. The food was delicious. Gluten free pizza was available and yummy.

I went for lunch with 6 friends + 1 cute baby for book club. I ordered a macchiato, glass of red wine, and a primi -- ravioli di zucca con burro, salvia, ricotta affumicata, e amaretto. AMAZING. DELICIOUS. I'm still thinking about it.

One friend has several allergies (gluten, lactose, etc) and they were accommodating to make sure she had a meal she could eat. It was a salmon dish and the filet was generous! She said it was very tasty.

We had a fantastic time and enjoyed walking by the gorgazzo after.

Very nice local restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. We had pizza for a starter and grilled fish platter for a main. Pizza was superb and grilled fish had a variety of local caught seafood and was delicious!😋
We were there on a Monday and after 1900 it was packed with locals and Americans from the local air base.

The food is absolutely amazing! All of the ingredients are fresh, and the flavors blend perfectly. If you're anywhere near the area, you must make the time to visit this restaurant! The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Eating the best food in the world in the shadow of a beautiful mountain! This is a 5/5/5 establishment all the way!

Ristorante Pizzeria da Genio has been operating in Polcenigo for decades. It’s really a treat to the eyes and belly. The restaurant is located next to the Gorgazzo Spring (Sorgente Del Gorgazzo) in Polcenigo which is famous for the statue of Mary submerged some 15 feet underwater. The spring is ice cold, crystal blue and very deep.

The food is very rich at Da Genio. They are really known for their pizzas but everything you order is first-class. The dining area is situated next to a pretty river feeding from the spring. The best dining area is outside near the river (hopefully in the fall when it’s cool out).

Verdict: Ambience is great. Food is superb.

Wow! This place is amazing! I had the wild boar and polenta and it was tender and delicious! We shared an amaretto tiramisu for dessert and it was the best I ever had! Lunch for 2 with appetizer, 2 meals, prosecco & aqua, dolce, and limoncello €45,00

I very rarely give reviews but I feel I must when it comes to this restaurant. I Visited from New Zealand with a few mates in June 17... the food was beautiful and the service and welcome was wonderful. It was so good that on our last evening in Pordenone we chose to visit here again and were impressed by outstanding food and service on the second visit also. We were so impressed that we chose to leave gifts from NZ for the owner and his family - thanks for the best pizza I have ever eaten!
