Fattoria Il Colombaio

We went to Italy for our honeymoon and visiting this vineyard was one of the my favorite experiences. The staff was so friendly and informative. The wine tasting was so thoughtfully organized. We were served lunch during the tasting and their chef, Mina, made us three different pastas that was the best I had on our entire two week trip! The wine was incredible too!

Amazing place to enjoy the Tuscany countryside. The family running this Agriturismo is amazing, they are making wine for generations, and you can tell that based on the wine itself, especially the Gran Selezione one :)

The whole property is really gorgeous, especially in the morning or afternoon to relax, enjoy the nature and the peace.

Besides the rooms and accommodation, dinner is also offered, which goes so well with the wine tasting operated by the host. Overall the place is amazing, the family is very kind and friendly, the property is gorgeous. A true place to enjoy the Tuscany at its finest.

Absolutely lovely winery with amazing wines. This is a 4th generation family winery dating back to 1897. We had a wonderful tasting and a delicious lunch. Excellent service and highly recommend!

This was a beautiful, quaint villa in the Tuscan countryside. The owners were so gracious and kind. The property was beautiful and we got a tour of the cellar. Wish it was warmer so we could have enjoyed the pool. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic and the wine tasting was delicious. This was an easy location to take day trips to San Gimignano, Volterra and Siena.

On our pilgrimwalk on via Francigena, this stopp was the best one! An authentic toscan farm with all that charm you can think, but at a higher level of elegance. The owner and his family are very proud for their work and way of thinking about how to drive an ecological farm. We wore impressed!
Even we stayed only for one night, I warmly reccomend this place, because is great! The room was big enough, nice bathroom, I reccomend the tour for the celler and then dinner with 3-4 wines. The food was excellent with the wines and the family is so attentive and warm. We'll be back for sure! So good quality! Many thanks to Francesco, Marco, Julio and Roberta.

Il Colombaio is the best Agriturismo we ever have visited. Stayed at the place for 7 dayes and everything was amazing. The place, the view, the food, staff and the owners.

Beats expectations
This B&B is exceptional and is even better in real life than the pictures suggest. The location is stunning set among rolling Tuscan hillsides, vines and farmland. The evening sunshine bathes the valley in amber light - the perfect backdrop to an aperitif or something to eat.
The rooms are comfortable with large beds and immaculate linen.
Finally the team who look after you are thoughtful and attentive. Their pride in this place shows in the quality. comfort and kindness they provide.
With Monteriggioni on the doorstep and within 15 minutes of Siena and less than an hour to Florence, this is the perfect base for a tremendous Tuscan getaway. Highly recommended. We’ll be back :)

A beautiful and peaceful working Tuscan farm that is centrally located. Our hosts were very accommodating, helping us with directions and reservations. Breakfast was great and the staff couldn't be nicer. We highly recommend and cannot wait to return!

Sitting within the grounds of a vineyard ,was not only unique but a fantastic experience. Staff were on hand when you needed them and always helpful to the extreme, the location is ideal to explore from and if you like all things wine then a must.
