Osteria Bottega dell'Abate

We (family of 4 a 9yo and 5yo) popped in by chance. Great service, super food and great value. A bit like that neighbourhood ‘go to’ you have that has excellent food and service and no fuss. My most enjoyable meal in the area, ahead some of the more known places (which were also great :).

One of the nicest people work here. They were very helpful with recommending tasty food, as well as recommending us to go somewhere to see the sunset in a nice location in the neighbourhood. Definitely recommend going here if you want something different then a pizza, also for vegetarian dishes!

Absolutely top spot. Came for lunch, had the traditional tagliatelle with veal, wife had the spicy noodle pasta. Then sirloin for main. So so good. Really well priced and top service.

A taste of Tuscany!!
Owner Ferri greeted us and took care of what we would eat, after letting him know that we weren't starving and that our only condition is that we don't eat pork. He started us out with a delicious tomato soup with bread. We continued on to have pasta with tomato sauce as well as a gnocchi with creme sauce with caramelized pears. Both were worthy of salivating. We were so full afterwards but too tempted to see what he would offer next. Result: DELICIOUS piece of steak with two sides, amazing caramelized onions and wonderful potatoes. All this for a meager price!
He then offered us delicious desert. I have to say the service, location and food were wonderful.
This restaurant was recommended by a local, claiming that locals go there to eat, which was intriguing.
Even the dog Bella was the sweetest thing!
Needless to say; we were very well taken care of.

We had a wonderful time at the Bottega. The service and the whole team was very welcoming and friendly. We had some typical pasta as well as the Quaglia and the collo di maiale and we’re super happy. We would always come back for a happy dinner at the Osteria Bottega (and we even learned some Italian, I hope I spelled the meals correctly 😄) thank you!

Stopped by for an impromptu dinner — everything we had was phenomenal! Great ambience and local Tuscan food without a tourist vibe. Wonderful outdoor patio to enjoy the local wines from the winery right next door.

Very rcomended restaurant, all the dishes were excellent and the nice waiter was very kind.

We didn't know exactly what to expect when we came as the restaurant is beside a road just outside the village without anything next to it. I can say it definitely beat our expectations. The food was delicious and the prices great. Plus, the waiters were really friendly and service great. We only had water as I was driving and my partner had enough wine from tastings but I saw on the menu that they have a good local selection.

Got here by accident. Awesome food. Great and tasty wine. Very welcoming people. Very cozy place. Will defend come here again.

Got recommandation from where we stay. Not easy to spot in the dark, but would definitely recommend it. We had peposo and pici, and they were both excellent. The owner was super nice.

Nice little restaurant with friendly and funny staff. The food won’t disappoint you, the prices are reasonable. I have nothing to complain about this place. Language problems are very unlikely because the guys speak at English and German (and maybe more).

Don't believe the haters, food and service were superb. Everything was delicious, some dishes exceedingly so. Came with a large group, and instead of ordering, owner brought out several dishes and had us all samples some of the best Italian food had.

Great food, very nice service, the street is not busy so it is not disturbing.
