S. Martin Hotel

Had a wonderful room overlooking the sea. The staff was wonderfully helpful with sharing information about the town and helping us with anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and Patricia (if I remember her name correctly) was always taking care of our needs and we loved her smile and happy attitude in the morning. I would highly recommend this convenient and attentive hotel.

We had a fantastic week in this quirky converted Monastery.

All the rooms are different, some with better views than others. The hotel was brilliant in moving us when we asked for a room with a view, rather than a wall, nothing was too much trouble for the staff here.

WiFi is only accessible in the public areas, not the rooms as the walls are too thick...

The hotel was spotless, rooms cleaned everyday and staff spent hours cleaning and maintaining the public areas.

Location is perfect in the Old Town, lots of alleyways/side streets to explore and restaurants appear as if by magic when the sun sets.

However the true stars at this hotel are the staff. Always smiling, never miss an opportunity to say hello, happy and genuinely want to help.

Did I mention the roof top terrace.... Aperol Spritz as the sun goes down... The stuff of memories.

We will definitely be back in Giovinazzo and this hotel.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel, and the service and helpfulness of the people that work there!

We stayed there for 1 week, and had a super stay. The breakfast is good, coffee great and the service fantastic! The hotel is located in the old town of Giovinazzo, perfectly placed for everything, view of the sea, walking distance to everything, quiet, swimming and restaurants.
The hotel it self is an old monastery and they have done a super job of keeping old relics on display, also combining the history of the place with modern comforts.

I hope to go back some day

Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was spacious and in keeping with the rest of the hotel and was cleaned everyday inc fresh towels. During my stay temperatures rose above 35 deg so the air conditioning was very much appreciated. The breakfast was great and the waitress couldn’t do enough for you. Reception staff were great and very helpful.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and I for one will be making a return visit at some point

Very nice place with seaside shore nearby, historical church and actual museum-hotel with a splendid interior garden where cliente can eat breakfast. Only the parties on the roof are disturbing the silence of the place if you are sleeping on the 3rd floor.

We have had a great stay at S. Martin Hotel.
Located in the old part of Giovinazzo, overlooking the sea this historical building of XII-th century ancient monastery has a unique character making one feel rather special being able to enjoy the facilities and the views.
Every day a lovely breakfast is served in the inner courtyard. One of the most delicious white Italian bread I've ever had (was it Italian bread, ciabatta or pane Pugliese..?) with Mozzarella, sweet piccolo tomatoes and most importantly superb Prosciutto Cotto (truly amazing!) and fried eggs served in various ways upon request. Lovely coffee too.

There are a few very good restaurants in Giovinazzo, couple of which I'm still to review in separate reviews.

Initially we planned to stay in Bari, but finally/luckily chose Giovinazzo, really fond of the hotel and the town too. Will definitely come and stay here again, feel we did not exhaust the full list of possibilities during our long May weekend stay we had there.

Nice place to stay on the lungomare with good views and in the old town of Giovinazzo. Close to the edge of the old town, so easy to park nearby and not walk too far with your luggage. Highly recommend the restaurant next door! The staff were always pleasant and the rooms were clean. The room was quite basic but was comfortable. Highly recommend!

Such an idyllic setting lovely cosy rooms with views of the sea. A great sky bar, for drinks at sunrise and sunset. Lots of dining options nearby. Most of all super helpful staff and management. Arranged a breakfast at 4am for us before our flight. Arranged an excellent doctor to come see our elderly parents. Wheelchair access. Fantastic

Beautiful building, extraordinary location, very kind staff.

A beautiful and unique hotel, it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely continental breakfast with pastries to die for (especially the Nutella Tart). Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This hotel is more than 5 star, I rate it as 7 star, rooms are large and airey and the heating works, the shower was fantastico
