B & B Casanova

Simply the best B & B we stayed in while in Italy. The hostess was incredibly accommodating. She gave us tips on how to get around, and she woke up two hours early to make breakfast so we could catch our bus. If you'll be in the area, stay here.

The host Maria was very friendly and helpful when it came to trying to bus down to the coast. The view from the rooms and outdoor space is stunning. Breakfast was lovely and they were very accommodating with my chosen breakfast time.

Maria is a wonderful, welcoming and friendly host, the hospitality was amazing. We arrived a bit earlier then expected (before check-in time), but this was not a problem at all. We could sit for a bit on the terrace while she finished up our rooms. The rooms were great! Super clean, spacious, and well equipped for a 13-day stay. Breakfast was also great, with a variety of options as well as some delicious threats. The location was great as well: the view, just breathtaking. It is located a bit remotely and a car might be required, but overall it's accessible (also by public transport and walking for about 10/15 minutes). Some said that the drive towards the B&B is difficult and scary, but I would like to disagree. Anyone who can properly drive can reach this place easily.

Overall: great host, clean room, great breakfast and good location (i'd recommend a car though).

Another plus: there is a super cute dog that loves a cuddle (for the people that don't like dogs: he wanders around a lot so you won't be seeing him a lot).

I have to be honest, I was torn between 4 and 5 stars, but in the end the price-value ratio wins and so I rate with 5 stars. What was great: the nice welcome and smooth check-in process, with helpful information about the surroundings, restaurants and excursions, and the view was really great. The rooms are "quite simple", the bed a bit hard and squeaky, but you will find everything you need and you should not stay long in the room anyway, but explore the great surrounding and area. A plus is that the restaurants in the area offer good prices (you pay much more down on the coast) and the regional wine is very tasty. The breakfast in the accommodation is simple, which is unfortunately also influenced by the Corona regulations, but we were happy with the selection on both days. The host was always available for questions and very nice! So if you are not afraid of the remoteness of the B&B in the mountains, but appreciate it (about 40 minutes drive to Amalfi) and are looking for accommodation with a great view and a nice host, at a reasonable price - this is exactly the right place and you will be able to enjoy your stay to the full.

Great central location for anyone wanting to explore the Amalfi Coast, with, on a clear day, fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and the sea. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable with equally spacious bathrooms. The breakfast is delicious and sets you up for a good day of visiting. In the town are a couple of restaurants and a bar within walking distance. The B&B is at the bottom of a very steep hill so it will give your calves (and your car) a bit of a workout! I would definitely recommend Maria and her B&B to anyone looking to spending a few days in this beautiful part of the world!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, Maria and Raffael were perfect hosts showing us the true Italian hospitality. The room was fantastic with all you need to feel comfortable. It was peaceful and serene and a great place to relax and unwind. Thankyou to both of you.

Honestly though, room/restroom quality/cleanliness is much better than some 4-5 star hotels.

Very nice place and good hospitality. Location is a bit remote, it has public transportation, but it is easier if you have a car.

Nous avons passé une bonne nuit au B&B Casanova, acceuil très chaleureux, chambre très propre et cadre très agréable avec vue sur la mer :)
Il y avait beaucoup de choix au petit déjeuner, bon petit pied à terre pour visiter la cote amalfitaine bien desservie notamment grâce aux bus !

Che dire, posto rilassante e con vista monto bella, la stanza era bella e molto comoda, di sera molto silenziosa con giardino posto frontalmente alla stanza, la proprietaria molto giovane e molto brava,la colazione era ampia ed io che ho problemi di Lattosio mi ha anche procurato del latte e alcuni prodotti senza lattosio, quindi mi ha fatto un enorme piacere, ve lo consiglio vivamente.

Eine nette B&B, jederzeit gerne wieder, Aussicht ist einfach ein Wahsinn, die Zimmer sind genug groß und modern eingerichtet. Und Maria spricht sehr gut deutsch und gibt auch gerne Tipps für die Ausflüge, sie war jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit und nicht zuletzt eine sehr nette Person! Kann ich nur mit gutem Herzen weiterempfehlen.
