We had a great time at La Barcaccia during our stay in Sicily. Mr. Rosario and Mrs. Patrizia were the most hospitable hosts we could have: a warm welcome on our arrival day, advice every time we asked for indications to different places in Sicily, and a lift to the station with Mr. Rosario's personal car when we left.
Breakfast is very rich: coffee, cappuccino, tea, butter, cheese, salami and other Italian meat specialities, various kinds of jam, yogurt, olives, eggs, vegetables, Sicilian pastries anything one could ask.
Unlimited access to the kitchen if one wishes to cook; fridge and range cooker.
We stayed in the Green room. The room and the bathroom are large, clean and well equipped.
Air conditioned free of charge.
Above all these, I must mention the great terrace with the view to the Etna volcano. During our breakfast we could admire daily the volcano's smoking.
Our hosts were like family to us.

Un soggiorno bello piacevole e rilassante ma soprattutto avvolto dalla formidabile gentilezza simpatia e accoglienza dei proprietari. Colazione ricca e di qualità. Ambiente pulitissimo. Possibilità di parcheggiare agevolmente l'auto nelle vicinanze. Elena e Roberto

Posto accogliente, pulito, Wi-Fi eccellente. Proprietari di una gentilezza ed umanità unica e di una simpatia contagiosa. Disponibile al dialogo per tutte le richieste di ospitalità . Voto 10. Da non perdere.

AMBIENTE MOLTO ACCOGLIENTE, I PROPRIETARI ROSARIO E PATRIZIA MOLTO DISPONIBILI E PREMUROSI.FAVOLOSA LA COLAZIONE SUL TERRAZZO ( MOLTO ABBONDANTE ) CON UNA SPLENDIDA VISTA ETNA.CAMERE AMPIE E BEN TENUTE CON TUTTO CIO CHE SERVE.IL TUTTO A DUE PASSI DAL PORTO,DAL MERCATO DEL PESCE E ORTOFRUTTICOLO.QUESTA E LA SECONDA VOLTA CHE CI ANDIAMO E NON SARA L'ULTIMA.
