Baccano

Saw the fresh oysters while walking towards my tour.
Went back for lunch. For two kinda over ordered.
Portion for mains are adequate or too much if you have a petite appetite.
Oysters cannot complain la. Best. Fresh and soooo good.
Highly recommend the Octopus leg and grill red fish. (very well done)
They accompanied the bread with a god balsamic vinegar. But bread quality a little fall short.
Nevertheless. It was a well done meal. (Lunch)

he made wonderful recommendation from entree, pasta and wine paired best with meal.
Dessert recommend get the tiramisu made table side.

Best carbonara of my life! Also the table side tiramisu was spectacular! they have a great wine list. After dinner we moved to the bar tops so we could clear our table and had 2 wonderful cocktails. 10/10 experience.

While in Rome I had dinner at this restaurant. The service was outstanding, the staff were amazing! Our waiter was from Angola and was super friendly, spoke Portuguese to my sister and explained the menu to her as she didn’t speak English or Italian. The food was incredibly delicious! Drinks were nice and strong as they should be lol

Friendly and welcoming up on entrance. Great cocktails finely crafted. The Americano is close to a negroni with a sweet initial burst and finishing with a classic Italian loved bitter. AC inside and wonderful seating outside, a must stop while in the area.

Best oysters I've ever had. The rest of the meal was great, too, but the oysters were the star of the show. Even the bread is wonderful. We will be recommending this spot to everyone travelling to Rome.

I returned at Baccano and brought my friends bcoz of their great burger. It was truly alluring with heavenly taste. To me it was perfectly done. It has become my standard in eating real high grade meat burger. Try it!

If you can eat here you MUST!! The pasta had three levels of flavor and the tiramisu is a table presentation and is beyond an experience.

I hate the Trevi fountain and all the scams that come with it. Coming into Baccano, I was fearful it would be like everywhere else. This restaurant with all-female servers was not a scam. The air condition was nice, the ambiance was upscale, and the food was on point. My party and I all ordered the burgers and they did not disappoint one bit. Check it out for yourself. The meat was tender, juicy, and rich, and overall this meal was excellent. Service was quick. I loved the experience here and would recommend it.

Amazing fois gras dish with pear and fig bread.
Veal with nectarines. The carbonara pasta was delicious. They also sold good bottles of wine for good prices.

Finally got to have Cacio e Pepe, and it was everything I wanted. Perfect portion for how rich the pasta was, but wasn't left hungry. The tartare was just as amazing and prepared tableside.

A real restaurante in a “sea” of tourist traps.
Must reserve beforehand. Menu with many options both for food or wines. Nice bar and great atmosphere. The hostesses were very friendly. Our waiter Pedar was wonderful. The only thing they can improve is the waiting system. There were empty tables outside but we were not offered to sit while we waited, we sort of seated ourselves out of sheer tiredness. It was well worth the 30 minutes wait though. The food and wine were amazing. Top!!!

Quite simply the most enjoyable meal I have had in Rome and maybe all of Italy. The food, the ambiance and in particular the staff were all excellent.

This was a New Years Eve meal and on such an occasion you might expect some problems but from our greeting at the door to the goodbyes we received everything was perfect. So much so that we are seriously considering rebooking for next year!

We walked right in and got a table right away without a reservation. Thank you! The service was the best yet, the food was amazing and the tiramisu was an experience! Truly enjoyed having a meal here!

The service was very friendly, first and foremost, and our waiter spoiled us throughout, making us feel welcome and taken care of. We had the parmigiana and agreed it was excellent. The location is great, central but out of the way of the bigger crowded areas. A great place to splurge on some higher quality food.
