We ate early in order to get to a concert, so hence the atmosphere score. Christopher has an amazing restaurant with simply amazing quality cuisine. Amazing value for the quality of food we had! I’d be back there in a heartbeat if I could!

I agree with the reviews stating that the pistachio ravioli were amazing! I tried them out because of the reviews and I was not disappointed! Also it was my first time having wine in a jug and it was also very good! Had the fried tuma cheese as a starter and it was very good as well. Overall everything was amazing and the presentation was very nice. Highly recommend!

The food was marvelous - parmigiana with sword fish is an amazing surprise! Everyone done with care. Also looks as good as it tastes!

Booked table online same day. Our table was very squashed in which was the only negative.
Excellent choice for vegetarians and vegans.
We had Tuma cheese with honey for starters which was delicious. Mains were pasta Norma and pistachio ravioli in a cream and parmesan sauce. Incredible.
Sad we were too full for dessert!

Fantastic food. I went for the pistachio pesto and shrimp pasta, it was so flavourful that we went to compliment the chef!

Absolutely delicious vegan food in Taormina! Zagara has a separate vegan menu with amazing options - we had the caponata, chickpea soup, pistachio pesto macaroni, and wild fennel spaghetti! It was all unbelievably good - especially the pistachio pesto macaroni! Highly recommend!

Wonderful place. Staff is very attentive, you don't have to wait long for your order and - most importantly - it is very delicious. I can only recommend to have a seat here and enjoy the food and wine :)

Reasonable price and really good food in Taormina. It has a homey vibe and is located outside of the busy town, away from other tourist traps.

We had a charcuterie board with selections of Sicilian meat and cheese. Everything was fresh and distinctive of the area.

Then we had the Zagara pasta, which was impressive. The pesto and cream goes really well with the homemade pasta and you can taste the sweetness and texture in the well-cooked shrimp.

We also had the Citrus crusted Orata. It was fresh and perfectly cooked. You can taste the citrus on the crispy crust and the fish just melts in your mouth.

Tiramisu was good and legit. Perfect way to end our meal.

Have visited this restaurant on both trips to Toarmina. One our favorites places. I love their tuna carpaccio. Other seafood dishes like the clams and mussels are very good. Friendly service too.

Fantastic local food reasonably priced. Mainly Italian guests. Recommended - mixed fish starter, gnocchi Sicilian style and also swordfish. Good service. It's on the street - street view in the second pic.

Dedicated vegan menu with fantastic staff. Colorful entrees and amazing local flavor that surpasses other vegan recipes we have had. Definitely a must try in Taormina!

They have an entire vegan section of the menu!! I had the Maccheroni Norma which was absolutely fantastic, would highly recommend!

The food here was very good and the service was very nice. I felt taken care of by our waiter, more so than the usual stand off nature of Italy’s service industry. We ordered the Etna Rossa wine, which was a dry red that we really enjoyed. We also got the bruschetta, fried cheese, gnocchi, and and swordfish rolls, which were outstanding. I think the menu here was more diverse than most of the ones in the area, so it is a place you can come back to. The prices are also much more fair than a lot of others with similar items.
