I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful family hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the warm welcome by Lucia and her husband to the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The hosts made us feel like part of their family. Their kindness was truly touching, especially when they helped us during an illness, arranging for a special chicken broth from a nearby restaurant. I can't wait to return to this place!

The hosts were absolutely amazing. The property is fully and exclusively run by the owners themselves and as such they try to make your stay perfect.
The breakfast cannot be compared to other hotels in Italy where we have stayed, it is just above and beyond. The produce is fresh and almost everything is homemade by the owners. We were sad to leave after staying there for a whole week.
It’s clean, tidy, well equipped, etc - all you need is there.
It’s close to one of the nicest trails in the region - Path of the Gods - if you are interested in hiking. And many more a short drive away.
If we plan another trip to Amalfi, this is where we will be staying.

Amazing stay at Agerola! Lucia and Pietro are super-nice hosts - smiling and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and everything that all positive reviews say is true. B&B is very comfortable, clean and quiet. It’s a great option not just for hiking but also as alternative for Positano or Amalfi if you want stay away from crowds. Those breakfasts….

Our recent stay at Al Chiaro di Luna B&B surpassed all expectations and stands out as one of our most memorable booking experiences. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality by Lucia and Pietro setting the tone for an unforgettable stay.

The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, providing a comfortable and cozy retreat after days of exploring the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. What truly sets this B&B apart is not only its exceptional hospitality but also its ideal location. Situated in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, it serves as the perfect base for exploring all the towns and attractions, including the famous and extraordinary Sentiero degli Dei and other hiking paths.

Throughout our stay, Lucia and Pietro were always available and eager to offer valuable advice on the best places to visit, things to do, and sights to see in the area. Their insights enhanced our experience and allowed us to make the most of our time exploring this enchanting region.

And on top of all, every morning we started our day with an exceptional breakfast, a true culinary journey through Italian traditions, with a wide variety of fresh homemade products from savory to sweet, showcasting Lucia's dedication to quality and authenticity. A special mention must be made for the lemon tiramisu and lemon jam.😍

The respect and devotion they have for their work are truly commendable, and I wholeheartedly encourage them to continue maintaining this exceptional level of quality. It's rare to find such genuine hospitality and attention to detail, and it made our stay truly unforgettable.

One of the best B&B we have stayed in Italy, and we’ve experienced a lot! Lucia and her husband are incredible hosts, very friendly and helpful. They really make you feel at home. We stayed in the suite which is very spacious and perfectly clean. We weren’t lucky with the weather but so happy to stay there.

The breakfast is a pure delight! A large selection of local fresh products, we were not used to this level of breakfast in Italy.

This B&B has to be the absolute best that we have ever stayed at! Lucia and Pietro are so welcoming and attentive. The place is quaint and immaculate with an amazing breakfast every morning with homemade preserves, meats, cheeses, etc. Perfect central location for all the Amalfi coast…an absolute MUST! Will recommend to everyone and will hopefully be back one day!

This is the best lodging experience I’ve ever had. If you want to get a feel for the local community of Agerola and Positano (aka the Amalfi Coast), forget a hotel and stay at this BEAUTIFUL and EXCEPTIONAL bed and breakfast. The hosts - Pietro and Lucia - are some of the nicest people I have ever met! They are so kind, attentive, and helpful. Their food was delicious, the rooms were so comfortable and clean, everything was EXCELLENT.

It is a 10-minute walk from the Path of Gods, if you want to go hiking. If you’d like to go to Amalfi Coast, just take a 30-minute bus to Amalfi or Positano.

My wife and I will definitely be back!

Staying with Pietro and Lucia at Al Chiaro di Luna was a wonderful experience. The rooms were exceptionally clean, breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of produce from their farm. Fresh orange juice eggs from their chickens and ducks, and so many different homemade jams, I didn’t have time to taste them all.
I reccommend asking for a tour of their 2000 year old Roman cellar 🤩

Lucia and Pietro made my families stay at Al Chiaro di Luna the best BnB experience we have ever had. During our stay we were treated like family. Warm, welcoming, and unbelievably hospitable. The rooms are spotless and the morning breakfast is huge and delicious with items prepared homemade and some grown by them right on the property. Very walkable to restaurants and breathtaking Amalfi coast views including the path of the gods. Can not recommend this BnB enough. We hope to one day return! We stayed for 4 nights and loved every minute. Hosts are the most welcoming, kind people who genuinely care about making your stay special. Best breakfast we have had in Italy with homemade jams and fresh produce from their garden. They provided gluten free and dairy free options for us! Excellent local hiking recommendations, even driving us to the start of the trail. A hikers paradise with easy access to the Path of the Gods, hiking to Positano and Monte Molare (among others!). They went above and beyond to drive us to buy bus tickets and to the bus stop. Clean, modern, beautiful accommodations. Quiet and comfortable. Would recommend to any discerning, international travellers! Hope to return!

We spent a beautiful time in Al Chiaro di Luna. Lucia and her husband are wonderful hosts - they made us feel like welcome guests, not like regular tourists. You can see that they put their heart into it.
The guesthouse is very nice (rooms and bathrooms are spacious, garden is pleasant), very well-run (rooms are cleaned every day!) and the breakfast is AMAZING - prepared with delicious, high-quality products, many of which come from Lucia's backyard garden!
Agerola is a great town for people who want to avoid tourist-dominated spots (like Positano or Amalfi) and prefer places where there is a real ITALIAN (not tourist) life.

Fantastic place to stay in Agerola ! Everything was perfect, quiet and very clean. The 2 things I enjoyed the most during my stay: the huge breakfast buffet made with super fresh ingredients (much more variety than the usual quick coffee and croissant) and the day walking the 'Path of Gods' followed by the boat trip along the coast.

Best B&B in Italy with amazing and fresh breakfast. Everything is just tidy and comfortable. Host are very friendly and welcoming all the time and make you feel like at home. If you are a hot chocolate lover, do not miss the best hot chocolate from them!

It was absolutely lovely staying here, there were incredible breakfasts each morning and a complimentary glass of homemade limoncello on the evening we arrived. Lucia and Pietro were so welcoming, helpful and had great recommendations up and down the Amalfi coast.

Location is perfect for the path of the gods, in a fairly quiet town away from the bustle of more touristy towns, however the town did have an incredible pizzeria, the best of our whole trip - ask Lucia to recommend it!

We had such a lovely time we ended up booking for an extra two nights until the end of our stay instead of returning to Naples as originally planned. We were here for our anniversary and it was a magical time, and we’ll definitely stay here again if we come back to the Amalfi coast! Thank you so much!

The owners, Pietro and Lucia, were very accommodating and made us feel right at home. the prepared delicious meals (upon request) to include a birthday dessert, delizia al limone, a sponge cake with a lemon cream. The best that we ever tasted. Everything was prepared with their hone grown ingredients.

The one suggestion that we make is to advise clients beforehand to procure cash, as the owners have been experiencing issues with their POS.

After the usually challenges of driving the Amalfi coast (even in November) the welcome surrounds of Al Chiaro Luna was perfect. A warm fire in the reception/breakfast/kitchen area was matched by the of smile Lucia. The property is newer and well appointed in every way….. 500 meters from Agerola center (small village) with pharmacy, shops, restaurant .

The breakfast was over the top, like Christmas morning !

One of the best b&b accommodations I have experienced. New and clean rooms, great and plentiful breakfasts made with great local produce. You can also have dinner after ordering, the host Pietro cooks fantastically. Lucia and Pietro are very nice hosts, helpful with advice, they even arranged boat tickets - we took the Trail of the Gods to Positano, from Positano we took the boat to Amalfi.
I definitely recommend the accommodation and the service. Thank you, Pietro and Lucie, we will come back sometime!

Absolutely fantastic! The hostess and her husband were very welcoming. The house is just beautiful, the room clean and beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains. Every detail was looked after! The breakfast was rich and delicious, and there were homemade jams from products of their garden. They helped us with everything we needed and even recommended us a great restaurant for our evening dinner.

We stayed here for one night and it was lovely! We stayed in this area because we wanted to get up early to hike Monte Tre Cali and the owner very kindly offered to take us up to the start of the walk around 6.30am. We caught the most incredible sunrise! The stay was very comfortable and has parking on site. Really kind and generous hosts! Would definitely stay again !
