Sfogliate e Sfogliatelle

Located in the Historical City Center near the Cathedral, nice stop to have breakfast or morning coffee before exploring the city. The pastries are freshy baked and they are very flaky and crunchy (also big, makes you full after finishing one). The filling is also generous, they have two types of filling (with almond paste or ricotta), equally good. Server is friendly.

Very nice little spot for tasting the very traditional Neapolitan sweet dish Sfogliatella - we tried the crispy and the round soft version. Really, really nice and delicious and the service was just great. An absolute recommendation for everyone visiting Napoli :)

I tried making sfogliatelle at home because you can‘t find them in Germany, see picture 😁 My goal can only be to one day make them as good as yours are ahah

These pastries are so delicious! I loved all of them including the Baba cake. The ladies that work here are as sweet as their cakes. Treat yourself while in Napoli.

This place specializes in this Italian treat and they are killing it. Simple yet light, flaky, and wonderful. Also have coffees and cappuccinos that we enjoyed as they have a soy milk option😁 Some seating available.

We went in on a whim as it seemed quiet and my hubby noticed the trip advisor stickers! The lady behind the counter was wonderfully patient in explaining to us the differences between the pastries and helped me choose a sfogliatelle....I also couldn't resist picking a baba pudding. My hubby had an espresso and I had a freshly squeezed lemon juice. Every bite was delicious and drinks were perfect. What a wonderful little cafe! A must try if you're in Naples!

Sfogliatella and baba are just great here. I loved sfogliatella. So good! I am so happy we picked the right place among all these choices.

Got the orange peel, ricotta and almond Sfogliatella and let me tell you it brought me straight to heaven.

Be wary of random places you pass on the street in Naples selling Sfogliatella. Not all Sfogliatella are this good. Many of them I found to be too sweet and untraditional, this place had the real deal and very good prices. Sweet and helpful patron as well, great English :)

We got 2 semolina (no dairy) and 1 classic with ricotta. The fellow in front spoke several languages and was very helpful. Delicous and not at all overly sweet. Served warm with a crisp crunchy finish. We could only finish 1 between the 2 of us. $8.40 for 3.

Loved the classic sfogliatelle. Flaky & warm. The hot chocolate was amazing! Not sweet at all. Good place to grab a quick bite!

Wonderful pastries! Was in Napoli for a couple days and stumbled upon this on our last. Let me say, it was worth it. Tried both kinds of Sfogliatella Ricce. One had ricotta & citrus flavour and other had almond & hazelnut. Both very yummy. When in Napoli you must try this unique treat!

Absolutely delicious and authentic. They had a vegan version of the classic frolla that was a delight. I will be coming back here! Also a nice air-conditioned and fanned space to eat and enjoy my iced coffee too!

What a find! Hidden behind the souvenir shops. Sweet almond and semolina filling pastries. Prefer the crusty over soft versions. Server speaks English well and have coffee and tea to seat in or takeaway.
