this place was a great finding 🥰 generous portions and the prices are fair. they don’t make you pay coperto. both the antipasti and pizzas were very tasty and fresh.

Really good prices, delicious food and nice service, both in the café half and the restaurant half. We had a morning coffee as well as lunch here, and had a great experience.

I know it’s usually not a good metric, but the prices were *really* good here - I think it was one of our cheapest lunches in Palermo, and the experience was on par with (or even better than) other, more expensive places.

I’ll remember this place for a longggg time. Looks like a tourist trap but is anything but that!!! Phenomenal coffee, cassata, pasta. Stick to the daily menu if you order food. The sardine spaghetti will live rent free in my head! And the cassata. So so so good!!! Homey Southern Italian food!

Caffe del Kassaro was recommended to me by my local guide. I had the shrimp and zucchini spaghetti which blew my mind. It was the BEST pasta I have EVER had, and I even remarked that this dish had the potential to stop wars and bring world peace. It doesn’t LOOK like much, but looks are quite deceiving.

This dish was my “eat pray love” moment. I finally understood what it meant to be in love and have a relationship with my “pizza”.

This place is so good! We went there 2 times on our trip! I love the pasta with the mushrooms, bacon and cream! Sooooo good! The prices are incredible. $5 aperolol spritz, $6 pasta

Food came out pipping hot. My friend ordered a Diavola pizza, which was “loaded with cheese and had a really nice kick”. I ordered a Bolognese with veal meat. That came out fresh, hot and the portion size was great.
For a glass of red, one sprite, a pizza & pasta, €18.50 is fantastic value. Highly recommend visiting.

Recommended by our new friend we met on the train. The pasta alla norma was incredible! The right kind of pasta, the right taste, the right texture! The service was superb too, it was a joy to watch our bouncy waitress, she looked so happy.. a great reminder of how life should be, love what you do and work hard on it! Went there again today but unfortunately they are not open on sundays... 😭

The experience at Caffè del Kassaro was truly delightful. The service was charming and the food was of top quality, leaving no room for criticism. Among the numerous options available, I highly recommend this establishment. We felt genuinely welcome throughout our visit. The menu offered a good selection, and each dish was presented impeccably. The pacing between courses was perfect, allowing us ample time to enjoy each one, while still being served promptly when we were ready. Our meal was delicious, and the service was exceptional. I would certainly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. The food was incredible, and the service equally outstanding. In particular, the waiter was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

You won't find a cheaper place with better food anywhere in Palermo!
No service fee whatsoever, the pizza was just 7€! And it was good :)

I had pasta all over world, All over Italy. This place has it’s charm. Perfect taste, no ups and downs. Everything they use to cook is fresh. You can smell it taste it.

Desert is also fresh and amazing

The staff is so much friendly, the guys explains everything in english and the lady, Claudia, very nice and hard working.

There is nothing u can complain about this place. I loved the place.

The pizza here was absolutely fantastic. The dough was light and crispy.

The carne was the best we had, absolutely delicious.

Great value, although the service was a little haphazard.

It's a gem in amongst the tourist traps, and great if you're in the area.

This place has the best pizza and the best cassata.

We were here 3 times, we never paid more than 25 earos for 3 persons. Pizza prices are from 5-8€, dessert for 2€, very cheap and good..

I would strongly recommend you try the pizza crudo, pizza diavola and their cassata.

They do not speak English very well, but they are trying their best and we managed to understand each other.

They serve food from 12.00 to 15.30 and it is a bit bussy, but definitely worth it. Also the location is amazing.

The third time we came here the blonde server remember us and greeted us with a big smile and a hand wave.

Also vis-a-vis of their local is the best ice-cream ever.

One of the best finds in Palermo, we went twice on our trip and had delicious pasta and wine both times. Cheap prices and gorgeous food, and sitting on the tables outside was great as well.

The place is cozy and simple, the food is surprisingly not expensive but great. Home-style.

The food here was excellent and the prices were even better. I really enjoyed my pasta with tuna and olives. I would come here often if I lived in the area.

Excellent authentic Sicilian food amidst all the tourist restaurants on the same street. The caponata was delicious - perfect balance of sweet, sour and savory. The pasta bolognese was rich and hearty. The baked swordfish was a little dry - the only dull note of our shared lunch - and all was redeemed exquisitely with an excellent cassata!

Delicious tasty food. So cheap. A meal for 2 with drinks, starter and a main course for under 25€

It‘s a popular place so there is queue but it is worth the wait for a table.
