Modwear - Clothing, Shoes & Records

The place is really cool. I was searching for record of artist from Palermo. That was my main goal, I didn't know any artist from Palermo, but shopkeeper was so nice and he helped me in a research. Also they have really cool clothes available in shop.

Randomly ran across this very unique shop while having a first walk in Palermo.
The place is neat and welcoming, and you should find approximately everything you need to dress as a real english mod.
Deserves a look !

I first came across Modwear 4 years ago, on a trip to Palermo.
Upon arrival, I was greeted in true, "Palermitano style," by Salvo ... it was as if we had already known each other.
During those 2 weeks in Palermo, I would go past the shop each day - some days to buy, other days just to chat ... and have a 🍺
During the following 4 years, whenever I needed anything, Salvo would always come through with the goods (literally) eventhough I live in country, far, far away.
Always reliable, Modwear is a shop that you can trust.
I recently returned to Palermo, and again, everyday for 2 weeks I would find myself at the shop - buying, drinking, laughing, but most of all, maintaining my friendship I have with Salvo, and the love I have for him, and for Modwear.
Next time you are in Palermo, it is a MUST to go and visit Modwear ... even if you don't buy, go in, have a look around, have a chat ... and who knows, maybe you to might fall in love with Modwear, just like I did.

the modiest place in palermo! nice shop, nice clothes and less but fine vinyl selection - i found a kinski record, i never expected!

I was surprised and thrilled to find this store while on holidays. The clothing range is fantastic , from Ben Sherman to home designed target (RAF) T-shirts, parkas, Harrington Jackets and Lambretta gear. I wish this shop was available in my own country. The owner offered me a beer as I perused the clothing and music range, while listening to The Who . I just wish this was available when I was younger, but style always shows regardless of age. The owner also runs a Mod bar across the street and the pics, music and decor is fantastic. The Scooter with mirrors and sprayed side panels sitting in the middle of the show room, while the “Who’s Next “ album was blaring was fantastic. Well done Salvadore, what an experience , I could have stayed there all day. Well recommended. 👍

After a friendly hello, first we got offered was a cold Beer....can't get any better! Perfect place for subculture clothing, Vinyl and very interesting small Talk. Went there the next day and it was the Same. So when you are in Palermo Check Out Modwear and the Modcafe! Cheers Julia & Christoph

The best place in all of Sicily. The owner is extremely kind and you can see that he likes what he does. Five stars and a huge recommendation from me!

Fantastic shop! Lots of retro style clothes, and goid selection of shoes and vinyl records amongst other things. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable owner, would highly recommend a visit!
