This restaurant is a true gem on the map of Sicily. Run by two brothers, it’s a family business that has been successfully passed down from generation to generation since 1945. It’s a place where tradition meets modernity, and the passion for cooking is evident in every dish served. One of the most outstanding aspects of this restaurant is the service. It’s safe to say that it has the best service in all of Sicily. The waitstaff are extremely polite, professional, and always ready to assist. Additionally, they speak English very well, making it an ideal spot for tourists. As for the food, it’s simply exquisite. I had the pleasure of trying the fried seafood, risotto, and swordfish – each dish was prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian flavors in a unique atmosphere. It’s a place that other restaurants should take as an example, both in terms of food quality and service. This is a must-visit spot to experience the true spirit of Sicilian hospitality.

Excellent food, the best service. We booked a table but we were running late. The restaurant owner was so kind to keep the table for us. I think the food is priced well however we would be happy to pay more because the quality is excellent. I highly recommend this place it’s a must visit when in Trapani !!

We had a delicious diner, the best tuna steak for only 20€ and a very nice pasta vongole with pistachio pesto! We would definately come back if we were ever in Trapani again!

Incredible experience dining at Trattoria da Salvatore. Tucked away on a less busy street, the food was incredible and the service was even better. The staff go out of their way to ensure you have a lovely meal. Highly recommend!

Excellent food, great service. Enjoyed an extremely tasty caponata and a serious tuna stake, grilled to perfection with a wonderful pistache pesto accompanied with a perfect bottle of Grillo as recommended by the very friendly and professional staff. Recommended.

So good that I had to return the second time I visited the town centre. Just off the busy main street, is this quaint Trattoria, set in the heart of this magnificent Sicilian Town. The staff are super friendly and the food experience will immerse you deep within the most exquisite of Sicilian cuisine. Definitely worth a stop when in town.

We had a fantastic dinner here. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine.
I tried some local dishes and they were so tasty - the octopus on fava bean cream and the fish cous cous. I'd highly recommend.

Absolutely a must if you are visiting Trapani. The food was just exceptional, from starter to dessert. Not to mention the great service and the incredibly warm welcome by the owner. We'll come back for sure!

This was the best meal we had in Sicily and maybe our entire Italy trip. The alla Norma was mouth watering and the best we had during our time in Italy. The best dish was the spaghetti with prawns which there were plenty of. Amazing food and great service.

I have been to this restaurant several times during the last 20 years. They are consistent in both quality of food and high service. It has grown since my first visit, but there is still a feeling of a family owned restaurant.
Yesterday, we celebrated my son's 6 years' birthday, and they were so kind in helping decorate his food with our national flags (which is used for celebrations).
My fish was undercooked, but they handled it very well.

Everything was AMAZING. Even tho our Italian was quite poor nothing was a trouble for them: good recommendations, nice portions, yummy food, kind and professional staff and fresh product. We tried several dishes and we cannot fault any of them. The crudo di mare was out of this world, you really need to try the gamberi rosso. The pasta and cuscus were so tasty and cooked to perfection. We try the grilled tuna as well, full of flavour and the pistaccio sauce that comes with it is to die for. I didn't really left room for dessert but I saw THE ONE on the table next to us and couldn't resist to try it as well. We ordered a second bottle of wine (sicilian grigio from Trapani of course) to relax and make some room for it and we ended having one each. The flavours of the pistaccio parfait with pistaccio nutella brought me straight to heaven. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone exploring Trapani's gastronomy.

Absolutely fabulous restaurant- amazing menu and attention to every detail! They went out of their way to go above and beyond. The chef even made 3 delicious dipping sauces ‘off menu’ when I asked if there was any sauce to go with the calamari. I highly recommend!

Had a nice welcome from the two brothers running the Trattoria, they offered us to sit inside even with our dogs, brought water for them and the food and wine was good. Trapanese specialities were tasted such as the couscous and the tuna was peferectly seared leaving the middle deliciously tender and pink still.

Went in for dinner with a large group, showed up early with no reservation and they were very accommodating… moved tables together inside for us to all sit together. Air conditioned inside, very comfortable. The food came out quickly, and was delicious! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

The staff is friendly and very attentive. Food is great, the portions are enormous. The wine of the house is also great. Highly recommended! We've had cozze, pasta alla norma and pasta vongole. All great!
