MEC Museum

Important! The museum is to the right when you enter the courtyard, marked with MEC from the street. There are some small steps and a gate on the east side. You must ring the bell pictured so they can buzz the gate open. (Close it behind you.) The signage isn’t prominent & the gate remains closed for the residences nearby.

Accessibility: not very. There are two small steps before the gate, and then a short flight of wide stone stairs before the entrance to the museum.

The “crème de la crème” of an extensive private collection, it’s not to be missed if you are a fan of technology or of history visiting Palermo. I’m not even an early adopter of Apple products and I appreciated the attention to detail & design of the exhibits. The coolest relics are worth seeing in person.

Exhibitions/plaques are in English and Italian, and our guide spoke amazing English.

Very reasonable entry fee (I think 7 euro pp.) No need to reserve. It takes about 45 min to see everything, you walk through with a knowledgeable guide who provides commentary and insight.

Very interesting - Francesco was charming, enthusiastic and very knowledgable and showed us around this fascinating history of the evolution of Apple. Would highly recommend this. Don’t be put off by fact you have to ring a bell to enter, it’s no problem!!

Best museum experience i have ever had. If you are into Apple and Steve Jobs, this is an absolute must see.

Unfortunately the museum is really bad at advertising. No way to discover what the Museum is about from the name “MEC” and the signs outside the building are just white with the name “MEC” which means nothing to new visitors. The signs should explain what the exhibition is about from the outside in the yard. We only discovered it by chance.

A great, well taken care of, Steve Jobs exhibition. All his computers and design on display. Foto's, personal belongings. A must see if you are in Palermo. I was there in Corona period and the lovely lady at the entrance gave me a personal tour and explained all.

This is the nicest and most memorial museum of all time

Biglietto acquistato sul sito ma si puo fare anche all interno.
Non serve prenotazione ma chiude alle 16 e una mezz'ora ce la passerete tutta
Da fuori non si vede, dovete entrare nel chiostro e suonare perché essendo all interno di una palazzina signorile non si vuole rendere la scala accessibile ai curiosi.

All interno è tutto bellissimo ed interessante, Annalisa una persona veramente piacevole che ci ha accolto e guidato all interno del museo.
In modo totalmente gratuito ci ha illustrato la storia di ogni pezzo esposto con molti dettagli e curiosità.
Tant è che avendo concluso la visita in prossimità della chiusura ci siamo intrattenuti a parlare con lei ancora un po.

我去Palermo 其中一個打卡景點就是去MEC Museum,入面有齊初代Apple 產品及餐廳。雖然我並不是蘋果忠實粉絲，但非常值得去參觀。不過MEC Museum = Meet Eat Connect Museum 好難可以相像到Apple Museum 。入埸費Euro7，參觀完感覺非常值得。只是入口比較難找及需要按鐘入大門才可以上二樓。職員非常有親切及詳細講解，十分欣賞他的服務。十分推薦參觀!

Stupenda l’atmosfera che sì respira grazie alla grande passione dell’architetto Giuseppe Forello ideatore del tutto e che ho avuto modo dì conoscere.
le 8 sale museali del MEC raccolgono i pezzi più incredibili del mondo del collezionismo Apple. Un posto incredibile. Una delle collezioni di dispositivi Apple più completa del mondo. Complimenti al collezionista e a chi lavora nel museo, due persone competenti e simpatiche. Consigliatissimo

Kann leider nur den Hof des Museums bewerten, da ich es nicht geschafft habe. Der Innenhof ist so toll 👌🏾 war dermaßen begeistert, dass ich die Zeit vergessen habe 🙃. Wow, eine richtige Wohlfühloase.. Die Palmenbäume geben dem Platz einen besonderen Charme, ich liebe es 🫶🏽.

Esposizione di memorabilia sulla storia della Apple. Molto coinvolgente la narrazione della guida che accompagna lungo il percorso della mostra

Raccolta di reperti e rarità organizzata in modo eccellente in modo da immergere il visitatore nel racconto della nascita e dell'evoluzione del mondo Apple, interessante per tutti, dall'addetto ai lavori e appassionato a chi non è del settore ma ne è incuriosito.

Un luogo dove si può vedere e toccare il lavoro fatto con passione da Steve Jobs e ricostruito con passione da Giuseppe Forello. Visitatelo
