Outstanding hotel in a beautiful setting! We stumbled on this hotel through American Express “Fine Hotels & Resorts” after having a poor experience at another “5-star” hotel in Tuscany. From the moment we walked in everything was impeccable. The rooftop pool is gorgeous, the food- phenomenal (especially the breakfast), service was outstanding, and the rooms are beautiful. Our only regret is we didn’t have more days to spend there.

Amazing hotel and more than amazing staff! My wife and I stayed here on our way from cinque Terre to Florence and our stay was spectacular. Their attention to the little details is special. We had a great time in the pool, at the spa, at the restaurant, and they even had complimentary e-bicycles that can be used to stroll along the beach.

We want to thank you for making us have such a wonderful stay, you turned a quick trip into a real honeymoon. We know that it is a great job but not in all hotels, no matter how many stars and categories they have, the workers are so friendly and attentive. I have traveled extensively throughout my life, and without doubt this is the best hotel I have stayed at. The level of attention and detail at the hotel and staff are like no other. Definitely a higher level of luxury. We will defintely be returning soon. Please extend our gratitude to all the team at reception, spa, restaurants, pool and bar.

Everything about this hotel is top tier. The staff is so incredibly kind and the rooms are amazing. We are on our honeymoon and got upgraded to a suite without asking upon arrival. Also, the breakfast buffet is one of the nicest I have ever seen in any country. We stayed here for 4 nights and I will miss it dearly when going back to the states! Such a beautiful hotel in a beach town.

My husband & I were coming to Italy for the 1st time and our travel agent recommended the Hotel Principe di Piemonte-I had honestly had never heard of Viareggio-but what a wonderful surprise! The hotel was superb in every way. The room was elegant & spotless-luxurious side sea view, including 2 balconies. Every amenity was available. The hotel is right across from a beautiful beach promenade, and they have bikes available to borrow to ride, which was a great treat. The rooftop pool and bar are top notch-though the drinks are good, they on the $$$ high side-The breakfast must be seen to be believed-everything I ate was delicious. The entire staff was professional and courteous, the Finnish lady (I have forgotten her name) who works at the pool was so helpful and friendly- The hotel is located about and hour and a half away from the Cinque Terre-we did a day trip there-I highly recommend it and the Hotel Principe di Piemonte! What a special place- I hope to return someday!

I read the reviews about the hotel but nothing compared to reality. Very clean luxurious hotel. Their breakfast buffet won award for the best breakfast. They have 2 michelin star restaurant. The roof top terrace and swimming pool are unbelievable. Thier staff are very friendly specially Clara she’s the best, all her recommendations were amazing.

One of my favorite places to stay .. beautiful property... stunning... a boat ride away from stunning day trips. Thank you for such beautiful memories 💞

Amazing stay at Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte! Just everything about the hotel and staff was absolutely first rate. Starting with emails several months before our trip with the most helpful group of concierge and front desk staff. They helped book transportation, dinners, advised about day trips...just so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in a perfect location for visiting the beaches and walking to shops along the beach. The buffet breakfast was gourmet with daily chef specials and wide selection of local foods. Rooftop pool and bar were perfect after a day out. Hotel and rooms were immaculate! Highly recommended and we will be back!

Stayed here for a week. Saying this place is a gem, is a true understatement. The hotel is absolutely great, and every detail is meticulously curated. The soaps, the towels, the linens, the watera, the valet service, the breakfast buffet, the elevators, the bulgari perfumes given in the bathrooms, the bath robes, the silk robes, the flip-flops, the bed time slippers, the coffee machine, the pool, the restaurants, and the list goes on. Literally everything is on point and of spectacular quality.

But while that is impressive, what makes this hotel an unforgettable experience, one that rivals the best establishments in the world, is the attention to detail of the staff. They are, in one word, exceptional. They cater to your every request and have an answer for every question. They are the best in the business and it shows.

Last - the sunsets are to die for. 100% will come back again.

Where to start. Amazing architecture, great location, friendly stuff, superb food.

This hotel is SO beautiful, the decor and ambiance is perfect. The service was above and beyond excellent. The food was top notch with a Michelin star chef even helping with the fancy breakfast. We were in town for a charity event and the concierge was so responsive and helpful helping my FedEx package to arrive, which I needed for the event and also quickly arranged hair and makeup to be done in the room the day of. The view from the rooftop pool is beautiful, where you can view the mountains, the sea, and the multitude of beach clubs across the street. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance and Forte dei Marmi is a quick drive away for even more shopping. I wish I could have stayed longer!!

Amazing honeymoon stay at this hotel. Outstanding service and very kind, helpful staff. We have never experienced a higher standard of service, also the best breakfast we have ever had! We felt like royalty throughout the entire stay. We will definitely be returning.

This is my first of soon to be many trips to the Principe. It is 5star in the old world, old school way. Everything was impeccable, but service came first. The rooms, public spaces, restaurants, and bar were all top notch, but everyone who worked there that I came in contact with made themselves memorable. Looking forward to a longer stay next trip.

My wife and I had an exceptional experience at the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte. This is truly a five star experience—a beautiful location and space with elegant, comfortable rooms, superb dining options, and first-class service. We ate at the 2-star Michelin restaurant within the hotel one night, which was divine, but their other restaurant is excellent as well. Our favorite might have been their breakfast buffet, which featured a chocolate fountain and "dishes of the day" that included caviar and oysters. (Trust me--oysters for breakfast are incredible.) On top of all of this, everyone at the hotel is completely dedicated to providing a five star experience. Their hospitality is nonpareil. (They also gave us a free gift for our honeymoon!)

I have nothing but love for this hotel.
