Umami beer

Hands down the best dining in the Assisi area. We stopped in for a late lunch (we found this restaurant on Google) and had the best food and service we’ve had in the area, and possibly of our month long vacation in Italy. We started with onion rings and bruschette. The onion rings were crisp, perfectly salted, and light. The bruschette were bites of heaven—we especially enjoyed the pepper with Gorgonzola cheese and the creme fresche with anchovies. Next we had a Juicy Lucy and bowl of chicken. The hamburger was absolutely perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had the bowl of chicken with yogurt sauce over couscous and I cannot believe how flavorful and tender the chicken was, plus the side salad (not sure, but some pickled cabbage?). The presentation of each dish was thoughtful and elegant as well. I finished the meal with a serving of the panna cotta with the most angelic hint of melon (I never order dessert). Everything was such high quality and prepared with care and attention to detail. The beers were also delicious and refreshing. Finally, we cannot speak of a great restaurant without noting the service. Our waitress was so helpful, kind, polite, and accommodating. We didn’t catch her name, but she was wonderful (and had an Australian accent with her Italian). This restaurant is lucky to have someone like her in their employ. We hope to be back to this fantastic dining experience, and highly recommend this gem to anyone who likes great, quality food, drinks, and service.

Great selection of beers, including "pints" at 55cl, closer than the 50cl seen elsewhere - that's probably quite important during the current heatwave. An extensive gantry too, including some very good whiskies from Scotland and Japan.

The menu is less expansive than some other restaurants, but what we had was excellent.

Assisi was a magical town to visit, but this was honestly my highlight. Best burger I can remember eating (I have a demanding palate) and great selection of beverages from beer to liquor. Really enjoyed speaking with the friendly and knowledgeable owner, Luca! We hope to visit again in the future.

The staff can speak English and is super kind. Explaining all the dishes on menu with patient. Burger and the dolce are great. The beer is the best one I ever had. I will definitely come next time I visit here.

The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. Very large servings, good playlist and good atmosphere. We went on a Wednesday evening and it quickly filled up.

Lovely people and a huge range of burgers to suit everyone, including gluten free and vegan. Massive range of beer, literally hundreds and a very knowledgeable and friendly proprietor. Big range of wines too. Very highly recommended

The menu in the Google page is outdated so many vegan items were not there anymore.

Nevertheless the staff was well informed on all the possibilities and was able to recommend a vegan option for us.

Delicious beers and fusion dinner!

Knowledgeable, passionate staff with an excellent stock of craft beer. Burgers are deluxe in a broad, well balanced menu. If you're going to Assisi, take a detour to this little gem.
