Hotel Aurora

What a wonderful stay we had at this quaint hotel! The staff were so nice and helpful.

The room was clean with beautiful Italian tile. Bed was a bit hard for my liking but it was not a deal breaker. I so loved the corner terrace. It was huge and we had unobstructed view of the marina. The terrace was equipped with a bistro table and chairs. In addition, we had two lounge chairs.

The location was perfect! No hills! Although it’s located at the bottom of the hill the view was still spectacular. Walking distance to downtown Amalfi and Marina. If you want to visit other towns, you can take a ferry , again, located waking distance.

The breakfast was also great and with a view. Can’t be that.

This hotel was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they went out of their way to assist and make our stay amazing. We booked a terrace room and it exceeded our expectations; we had a huge balcony to ourselves and could overlook the town of Amalfi and the port from our room. Everything was very clean and very organized. In the morning, they serve a very nice breakfast with lots of choices, and have a beautiful terrace where you can sit, eat, all while enjoying the incredible views. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed here on the second part of our honeymoon, and after the first hotel stay elsewhere being dire- thank god we came to Hotel Aurora! It was just amazing and turned our mood around.
The staff were lovely, so helpful and welcoming.
Our room was the Superior double with balcony view - stunning sea views of Amalfi! The views were incredible and the overall style of the room was perfect.
The hotel was so clean and fresh, nothing was too much trouble when we asked for beach towels or could we bring drinks up to the room etc.
The breakfast was beautiful and the terrace outside is really lovely.
The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes walk up to where everything is.
We loved it here, would 100% recommend it and would definitely return.

I have NOT stayed in this lovely hotel but recently my family visited from the UK and stayed in the Aurora Appartments. They were kindly invited to take breakfast in the hotel so I went with them on the first day just to show them the ropes.
Goodness, WHAT an amazing breakfast and what an amazing location.
When the weather allows, breakfast is served on the hotel's stunning terrace which overlooks the sea and harbour. And they have recently employed an amazing pastry chef so the breakfast is EVEN better!!!

I couldn’t speak highly enough about my experience here. The staff are absolutely incredible, so helpful and so warm and welcoming. The balcony rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast is very good with great gluten-free options! Located only a 5 minute from the heart of the down.

Me and my wife stayed here for 2 nights and loved this place.
It is located at the end of the main Amalfi waterfront across from the boats. The location is perfect and only a 2 minute walk to where everything is located. We had a car and they put it inside their garage for a small fee.
The staff was very nice and accommodating.
We had the Superior room with balcony that overlooked the Amalfi waterfront and was absolutely amazing views.
There is a small bar right outside with coffee, food, drinks, etc.
Also, right across the street is a really fine restaurant on the waterfront.
A buffet breakfast is complimentary and is on an outside terrace-so pretty !!
I highly recommend this place and hope to go back there again.

Second time here and wish I could go EVERY summer. (Too crowded on Amalfi now, with very ugly, rude tourists with no class, very unfortunate).
They treat you like family.
I arrived early Salvatore welcomed me. He had made an amazing cold pasta for the staff for lunch and brought over huge plate to me. The pasta was absolutely delicious and was extremely kind of him, and greatly appreciated. Giuseppe is an amazing front desk concierge, ALWAYS helpful, with a smile on his face.
Gerarda is a new manager, she too was extremely helpful, warm and welcoming.
Andrew (the Brit) and Gaetano handled the lovely, delicious, breakfast. They also willingly assisted in my being a pain and asking that my personal water bottle be filled with lots of ice each day. They ALWAYS had a smile and a Buongiorno! Thereza who works in the kitchen was the same. A Buongiorno and smile every morning!
Antonio the porter was pleasant and quick to assist in any way.

Davido the lifeguard was quick to set up chairs and umbrellas at the beach, ensuring you were seated exactly where you wanted to be, also ensuring you were comfortable while making sure you didn’t drown. I even pestered him to put sunscreen on my back which he very professionally and kindly did for me.
They ALL treat you like gold, they are great conversationalists and make the stay even more pleasant. They give amazing recommendations too. Then ask how it was the day after (they remember).
Housekeeping was very helpful and accommodating. They insured I had the towels and toiletries I needed knowing that I take two showers or more per day, especially when is as hot as it is when I was there. In fact, they are so good and HONEST, I left a tip a few times and they did not take it. When I spoke to the front desk they told me they would not take any Euros unless it was explicitly clear that it was for them as a tip.

The hotel manager, has the patience of a saint. I probably sent him 50 emails before my stay and he ALWAYS answered promptly, in a kind, understanding manner.

I miss them all. I hope to go back when Amalfi is not as crowded.

Again, I really wish I could keep this as my secret, so I begrudgingly write this, because they are great and I want to ensure I have room the next time I go!

We stayed in one of the sea view rooms with a balcony and it absolutely did not disappoint! The view was gorgeous and the room was exactly as advertised. Breakfast was clean, efficient, and delicious. Every member of the staff was super welcoming and accommodating. Special shout outs to Andrea (Hotel manager) and Andrew (kitchen and bar staff) for the above and beyond effort to make some English speaking guests feel extra comfortable. From engaging bar conversations to arranging for an adventurous hike (which was incredible with Matteo for both the trek of the iron Forrest and the path of the gods tour), they took care of everything.

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, but still want to be close enough to a lot of cool experiences then I wouldn’t trust any other location above Hotel Aurora in Amalfi.

Wonderful hotel. Situated perfectly for a short walk into centre of Amalfi. The room I had was a superior room with private terrace and it was beautiful. So fresh, so clean, so roomy. Had a separate shower and bath. Every member of the hotel staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and would do anything to be of assistance.
Breakfast was a broad selection on a stunning terrace as the weather was amazing every day.
Will definitely go back to this hotel when I visit Amalfi again

The hotel is in a nice, quieter part of Amalfi, but a short walk to the city center, ferry, and buses. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We arrived in the morning, well before normal check-in time, but since we had requested airport transfer ahead of time from the hotel and our room was unoccupied, Andrea excitedly let us know that he had arranged for our room to be ready early, which was perfect since we were able to nap after our long red-eye flight. The superior room is very nice - we loved being able to relax on the sunbeds. The romantic package was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious, with a lot of variety and was served on a beautiful terrace, which doubled as a nice romantic place to enjoy a couple of drinks from the bar. We requested airport transfer and it was very reasonably priced.

Big room with balcony. Just 5 min from Amalfi centre so silence 24h. I absoluty suggest this nice hotel

Very spacious hotel with great views. We had a room with balcony and sea view that was amazing. The hotel is located at the end of the street by the marina and is very quiet. The hotel staff was amazing and catered to all of are needs. The night receptionist Walter was amazing!! Anything you need, ask Walter! He obviously loves his job and enjoys people. Amalfi is the place to be if you are looking for a few relaxing days on the beach.

We stayed at Hotel Aurora in June 2018 for a portion of our honeymoon, and we were so pleased! The staff at this hotel is like no other. Simone, Andrew, Luka, and all the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Even the cleaning ladies were so nice and sweet and extremely helpful. The hotel is in a nice location only a few minute walk away from the main squares and all the action. The continental breakfast was also really nice. The terrace is beautiful and so peaceful. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend it!

Hotel Aurora is a fantastic hotel in a great location. A short walk into Amalfi Town, across the street from the marina and the beach.
Staff are so friendly and helpful when it came to planning day trips and activities. I will definitely return to Hotel Aurora.

Staff is wonderful. Very helpful and accommodating. Concierge is mid-range but quite nice for the price.

Offsite laundry service €10/kilo + 2€ delivery fee - 24 hr turnaround.

Rooms are nice and views are good for those seeking a serene and quiet location.

The staff are very friendly & helpful. The hotel is spacious & well presented & has a fantastic terrazza overlooking the bay. We stayed at Hotel Aurora's apartment which is behind the Duomo in an ideal position. Very clean. I have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Aurora.

We had a great stay and would recommend staying here. The staff went above and beyond when it came to a transportation issue that we had that was not their fault.
