Pizzeria Ristorante Gaston

Probably one of the true Italian restaurants you can visit in Merano - had a good pizza and certainly good service. The Tiramisu was simply amazing, got to remember the Italian cuisine has some very good desserts as well. Recommended.

I am from NY. I visited Merano last week.
My family and I ate at Pizzeria Gaston. We experienced the best pizza ever. The food especially the pizzas, the service, and the presentation were simply amazing. I can’t wait to come back and will recommend visiting Pizzeria Gaston to all my friends.

Best pizza place in town. Only visited this one today and a couple years ago, but there’s no chance to top it. 👍😉 Great tasting Pizza and very friendly service.

We were told that here you get the best Pizza in Meran. Went there with a large group (have to make reservations also during week days!). And yes, their Pizza is world class good. Size is also good. If you can fit desert afterwards, I recommend Tiramisu, quite delicious.

Excellent place with great atmosphere and superb food! But we were very surprised to see Pizza Hawaïi on the menu 😉😉😉

Easily the best pizza we ever had. Everything here was fantastic. Service was very quick and everyone was incredibly friendly and courteous. Pizzas are huge and as mentioned above just amazingly good with a thin crust and delicious toppings. The place is super clean and they wiped down the tables, seats and benches after every guest.

The restaurant is a hidden gem. It is located in an arcade and looks simple at first. But bruh, the pizza was amazing.
The crust was thin and light and very crispy at the same time. The toppings were fresh and tomato sauce was a poem. Try it out and see for yourself if you will be catapulted into flavor paradise.
Also, the deserts Apfelstrudel and Tiramisu are out of this planet.

Amazing service. Waitress spoke well above decent English, and the food is top notch. Even with this in mind, the price is still a lot lower than I originally expected. (With a pizza with a average price of around 8 euros). I highly recommend this place for everyone in the area. As a native or as a tourist.

It's still one of my 1st and favorite stops every time I visit. Someone the best pizza I have ever had, and the people are fantastic.

This place could easily go for a tourist trap. But it by far isn’t. We were pleased by excellent service, delicious food and a perfect evening.
