Hotel Lungomare

My wife and I stayed in Lungomare Hotel in Oct. this year. From our arrival we were made to feel very welcome.
The management and staff at: reception, in the restaurant, bar, spa, room service, at the pool and our cycle and tour guides were courteous and friendly.
The food and the services are excellent.

The hotel caters for both cycling and non- cycling guests with a full programme for both.
This not just a cycle friendly hotel it is a Cycling Hotel which also has a full programme for the non cyclist.
We highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Lungomare has the perfect location and accommodations for a flexible guided biking vacation. The hotel is managed and owned by a family. The customer service was outstanding most of the staff spoke English and were incredibly accommodating, friendly and service oriented. I was one of the few English speaking guests and traveling alone but most of the other bikers and guests spoke some English. Making me feel welcome as a guest. The hotel is clean and there are many comfortable common seating areas. I enjoyed moving around the property to different seating areas taking advantage of the sun during the day. The hotel is on the water and there are balconies large enough to sit and enjoy the view of the Adriatic Sea.
Meals are buffet style but don't let that dissuade you from eating there. The meals were excellent. There are new courses every day, fish, meats, pastas and a great selection of vegetables, breads, appetizers and desserts. The family actually dines in the same area as the guests.
I traveled in March and the Cesenatico area was in the shoulder or off season but it was a perfect time to cycle. I stayed for 5 nights and every day was sunny 60 degrees F and warm enough to swim laps in the heated pool in the afternoon.
The hotel provides bike rides every day unless it is raining. Rentals of all carbon road bikes can be arranged and they are stored in a locked garage area that guests can access if needed by a video system from the desk. I brought a helmet, my seat and pedals and they set up the bike with them. They provide different levels of biking and even will have one guide per rider if required. I participated in 4 rides from easy flat slow ones to riding up to towns in the hills. The group stops for a break after 90 minutes for a quick espresso then returns to the hotel. The rides are from 3- 4hours long. The guides are very knowledgeable about the area and often stop to point out a historic site or take some photos. The rides go through farmland and old towns fruit trees were in bloom and the smell of fresh tilled soil was in the air.
There are more aggressive higher speed and climbing rides as well.
I searched for guided biking tours that had flexible times in March and this is the only one that fit that criteria. Most of the other bike tours were specific 7 day intervals or self guided, and much more expensive. The routes we took were a lot of back roads and I would have had a hard time even with GPS finding these routes.
The Cesenatico area is easily reached by train from major airports. There are many sights an easy ride and easy to find from the hotel.
I booked my vacation with a tour group but I would suggest you contact the hotel directly as the booking group did not provide the specific information I requested.
I highly recommend this as a biking vacation option and there are several types of rooms from single to suites. I combined this vacation with a tour of Milan, Florence, Venice and Bologna and was in Italy for 2 weeks. It was a very memorable experience.

This place is awesome if you are a cyclist. Otherwise it is just ok at best. AC struggles to cool my room. Food is meh. But the bikes they rent are the best you can buy and they have in house mechanics and guided cycling tours.

Stayed for 2 nights, upgraded to the best room which was complete with sauna, jacuzzi and round bed! Very friendly staff, great food and brilliant location. Personal recommendation is you need to book at least a suite as the standard rooms are very dated and very standard. Will definitely be staying again

Family run hotel devoted to good friendly service, and of course cycling. Breakfast, afternoon and dinner buffets were great with a large choice of foods.

Absolutely beautiful location direkt by the see, delicious food and very friendly personnel!

Run by familj owner, very friendly atmosphere, nice rooms, devoted to good at arranging anything related to cycling. Very good breakfasts and half pension.

Hotel sul mare, in posizione tranquilla, il paradiso per chi ama la bicicletta, grazie all'ampia e attrezzata room bike, e alle guide che giornalmente accompagnano gli ospiti alla scoperta dell'entroterra (sono previste anche brevi soste con degustazione prodotti locali, eccellenti!)
Camere ampie, la nostra vista mare, piscina bella e curata, dotata di lettino gratuiti.
Per ultimo, ma non ultimo il buffet, ricco a colazione, altrettanto per la merenda dei ciclisti (dove si trova pasta verdure frutta dolci ecc) e non da meno per la cena a buffet con ampia scelta di piatti.
Mi sento di consigliarlo senza esitazione alcuna, e spero di tornarci presto !

Questa è la seconda volta che siamo stati in questo hotel.
Ottima posizione direttamente sul mare.
Camera nuova è molto comfort e moderna.
Il cibo è molto buono con ampia scelta.
Le persone sono disponibili e molto gentili.
Sicuramente ritorneremo presto!

Abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti, questo weekend al David, con la formula di pernottamento e prima colazione per nostre esigenze legate ai nostri due cani. Tutto quello che abbiamo chiesto per far stare bene i nostri pelosi, è stato abbondantemente esaudito!!! In più, avevamo una camera all'ultimo piano con una vista mare pazzesca. Grazie, ci avete fatto stare bene e soprattutto tranquilli.

Sono stata per la prima volta all'hotel Lungomare ad agosto da sola per fare i giri in biciletta che organizzano ogni giorno con le loro fantastiche guide e mi sono trovata benissimo: tutte le persone sono molto accoglienti e ti fanno sentire come in famiglia. L'hotel, il ristorante, la piscina sono molto belli, e poi c'è la stanza per le biciclette che è veramente comoda ed attrezzata. Sono poi tornata in coppia a settembre ed è stato come ritrovare persone conosciute che ti accolgono a braccia aperte. Lo consiglio vivamente!!!

Siamo stati 3 giorni in questo Hotel direttamente sul mare, abbiamo soggiornato in una Junior Suite Love bellissima, vista mare. Tutto il Personale dell'Hotel gentile, professionale e disponibile. La cucina del Ristorante, a buffet, molto buona, antipasti e ampia varietà di primi, secondi e dolci. Consigliatissimo!!!! Consiglio vivamente anche i trattamenti della Spa (ho fatto un massaggio al viso). Torneremo sicuramente, siamo stati molto Bene, 3 giorni di Relax!!

Siamo un gruppo ciclistico amatoriale della Valpolicella (VR) ed abbiamo alloggiato al Lungomare per 4 giorni assieme alle ns. consorti ..l' obiettivo era di percorrere le famose salite della Romagna terra di allenamento del ns. beniamino Marco Pantani.
L' ospitalità e l' organizzazione ricevuta al Lungomare è stata delle migliori e più che in Hotel sembrava di essere in una famiglia ....potrei dire che ci siamo sentiti un pò coccolati.
Ringraziamo di cuore tutto il personale dell' Hotel .

Siamo stati benissimo , com'è tutti gli ani che andiamo lì sono 7 ani di seguito e penso che non la cambierai mai , perché ci trattano benissimo,gentili e molto professionali, pulito e accogliente,, grazie mille a tutti voi a presto.

Camera decisamente non all'altezza di un 4* stelle. No Minibar solo cialde per caffe, il letto non era altro che un materasso appoggiato sulla rete, la trapunta di scorta all'interno dell'armadio senza nessuna custodia, sotto il letto poco pulito (l'ho segnalato ma non ha avuto quasi nessuna reazione), bagno piccolissimo con doccia con apertura semi rigido, che si chiedeva male. Al desk, formali(a parte una signora mora e piccolina, purtroppo non ricordo il nome, molto gentile) non molto gentili e essendo noi con uno smart- box, ci hanno fatto capire che eravamo ospiti di serie...smart- box, quindi che se volevi cambiare camera, pagavi, se volevi bere con la loro bottiglia, pagare, addirittura per parcheggiare all'internopagare!....insomma non gradevolissimo. Colazione a posto, sia per il dolce che per il salato, personale accogliente. Inoltre eravamo a 5 km da Cesenatico. Che è uno splendido posto dove con il loro porto Leonardesco tornerò di certo.
