Fantastic campsite in the Alta Badia region of the Dolomites,
2nd time returning, Nice hardstanding pitch.
Toilets, showers and washing areas are all spotless.
Very friendly & helpful staff.
Beautiful town and villages close by with excellent access to hiking & cycling trails.

Nice campsite, was quite busy but managed to get a spot on arrival. Pitches are pretty tight but was ok for a few nights. About a 20 min walk to Corvara. Nice hikes from the campsite. Toilets and showers clean. Great views 😀

It's a good place on a beautiful location, with all the basic necessities. Reading the comments here I think some people really confuse glamping with camping... There's hot water all the time, there's coffee, a little store and wifi if you need it. Yes, some extra things are a bit expensive (washing = 10€), but you are in the Dolomites, it is a posh area, like it or not.

I would be very happy if there was a little stove for bikepackers like me, but no other complaints.

Great campsite with ample space and good facilities. Paid EUR 29 for a campercar and one person, and a one night surcharge. A little expensive but views are great and location is good for exploring the nearby places.

Great camping between nice mountains. The location is perfect, the small town near by is beautiful. The management of the camping a little bit conservative…. The restrooms are very clean the small shop is perfect. We’ll come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We rented one of their 2 bedroom bungalows. Very clean and very helpful. Will definately go back if going in that area. Corvara town nearby (10mins on foot) has all the amenities required, like supermarkets, restaurants etc.

Great location, friendly hosts, and a beautiful view everywhere you look. The bread service was a nice treat in the morning.
The showers were a bit irksome having to press the button every 5 seconds to maintain water flow.

Very nice Camping Spot. Location is awesome - you can start great hikes/mountaineering adventures from here.

Washing facilities are in a really good condition. Prices are very reasonable.

You can not reserve here, but I think if you come here with "just" a tent you will find a spot even when it is quite crowded.

Intended to stay 1-2 nights and ended up staying for 3. Fantastic location, friendly staff, clean and ample sanitary block. Multiple hikes leaving directly from the campsite, nestled in the heart of the Dolomites with numerous restaurants within 10mins walking. Thank you for a great stay.

Excelent camping, perfect location. One of the best campings in dolomiti. It was cheap, clean bathrooms, small market for buying stuffs, caffea, benches for eating, very quiet
A little minus
No water through the camping, no refrigerator or freezer available, internet only if you pay, electricity same extra cost but for us it was OK, maybe for campers it is not, only one building for toilets, bathrooms. Maybe in full season it is crowded.
Highly recommended

The location is great, around 10 min of walking to the Corvara and like 6 min to the nearest lift.

Wonderful facilities. All the camping places in Italy Dolomite have superb facilities. Nice view, close to the supermarket. Had a good time here!! Little bit expensive but still a nice place to stay.

Good facilities.
Option for leave car outside on a special parking for free. Useful for early morning departure when gates are closed. Of course possible to park car inside for additional cost.
Good location near the town.

One of the best campings in Dolomites with very friendly stuff.

It has great location with beautiful views and very close to the Colfosco and Corvara towns. From the camping you can reach many hiking paths to Sella and Puez areas so you don't have to even run your car to go somewhere. If you prefer simple walks or bicycles there is a nice gravel path next to the camping.

Apart of the location the camping itself has a high standard. Very clean bathrooms and washing room. It has even dryer room if you need to dry your clothes (not so big though, but still).

I found only three cons of this camping.

First, there is no room where you can go in the evening and spend some time in the warm place. There is big a tent but if you look at Camping Sass Dlacia which has a very nice evening room for guests, the one in Colfosco is quite poor (and not so warm, unfortunately).

Secondly, the prices. It is the most expensive camping we have ever been (year 2018, tent pitch). Apart of the regular price per person and the tent which are quite high, you have to pay additionally for the car if you want to park it next to the tent and also for electricity. If have never experienced it in any other camping I'm Dolomites so far.

Lastly, there is no restaurant at the camping so if you want to go and eat something you have to to the town (but it's not so big deal because I assume on the camping you mostly prepare meals by yourself)

Overall, I would rate it 4,5/5 but definitely I recommend it.

On 18th March we may have lost our little toy-cat around the camping area. Please contact us in case you have found it. Thanks.

Very nice surrounding and nice camping. Management was highly professional with good attention towards CoVid19 emergency. Avoid showers downstairs and use the ones upstairs (you get more ventilation).

Camping Colfosco lies in beautiful nature and has everything you need, to make your trip a good one.
Loads of hiking opportunities, just around the camp. If you're going camping in northern Italy, you simply must visit Camping Colfosco! 😊
