Helimos Bed&Breakfast

One of the best, the most beautiful, relaxing, and intriguing experiences I had in Italy. Most of the Italy trip was a bit rush and busy, until we arrived to this nice house in Segesta. You are able to see the Segesta, the Temple build the ancient Greek all the time, from day to night. There are concerts or festivals at night in the Segesta, perhaps you could join it too! The house is surrounded by a nice little farm of sth, which i guess are grains? The house itself is interesting too, it is built along with a huge rock, and the rock is attached to the house’s kitchen, not sure of the reason, but it certainly made it very unique. Above the house, there is a ground that you could view better of everything, as well as the sky. Other guests in the house are also very friendly and relaxing. There are three little cute local cats in the house too! From time to time, there is a gardener trimming and maintaining the plants nearby the house. The facility inside the room is very basic, but it would be nice for us to get away from the city life.

It is also pet friendly!

The location is a bit challenging, it would be easier if you drive by yourself, if not by taxi. Alternatively, you can travel by bus, which is a bit tricky and we didnt know how until the last day in Segesta.

Everything is slow and quiet, we can enjoy our beautiful breakfast that is made by our host. The host is a very friendly, reliable, and kind lady.

The host is a very very reliable lady, there was a wildfire at one night, and the fire was horrible so she drove us in the midnight to evacuate to another hotel that she knew, then we could be safe for a whole night. Then, what we didnt expect is she drove us back to her apartment in the morning and made us breakfast at 8:30am!! That is incredibly amazing and reliable, and she must had been very exhausted too.

Great place to relax and perfect location. The view is gorgeous and Antonia is very sweet and cook a delicious breakfast.

The views from here are superb and our only regret was that we hadn't enough time to sit outside and take it all in. Helimos came up to expectations, and the breakfast was good. Our hostess was generous with her time and welcoming.

Antonia has a great place in walking distance to the archeological site. The solitary house is built on top of the next hill (integrating a big rock) , directly opposite to the temple; so even at night one can admire the view; and somehow I had the feeling that the temple is illuminated just for me (and the gods, of course).

Communication with Antonia was very easy, with unbeatable response time. If I happen to come along again, this place would definitely be my first choice.

Travellers should be prepared that there are no eating places in walking distance.

Amazing view to the Segesta temple. Breakfast with view was the best. Rooms big and with all amenities. Wifi worked excellent. Just 10min walking to the entrance of the Segesta archeological park.

the owner woman was very kind - offered me water upon climbing the hill and pointed out terrific trails to visit - grazie, molto gentile

Il posto è molto bello ,con un panorama unico. La proprietaria è gentile e disponibile per informazioni e consigli. Prepara una colazione propio da vera siciliana ( abbondante) da consigliare .

Siamo stati lo scorso week end io mio marito e nostro figlio Andrea di 6 anni, località incantevole,posizione panoramica e vicina al Tempio, meravigliosa accoglienza dell' Host, colazione con prodotti genuini e golosi, camera comoda e fornirà di split aria caldo/ freddo , un incanto , grazie Antonia

Charmant petit BnB, l'hôtesse est très gentille, la vue est exceptionnelle, au calme.
Chambre confortable, salle de bains assez spacieuse.
Le petit-déjeuner est excellent et copieux, produits de qualité.

Ottima posizione sulla collina antistante il tempio di Segesta, con una vista invidiabile. Il navigatore mi ha segnalato correttamente la posizione in cima ad una strada sterrata in salita.
La signora è stata molto gentile e disponibile e la colazione è stata ottima

Lieu exceptionnel au sommet d'une coline avec vue sur le temple de segeste. La maison est un havre de paix construit contre la roche. Antonia la propriétaire m'a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et est de bon conseil pour les lieux à ne pas manquer. Enfin le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel et permet de déguster des spécialités siciliennes. Je n'oublierai jamais ce lieu magique qui m'a vraiment marqué.

Piccolo B&B ma molto accogliente, ottima posizione, vicino al tempio di Segesta, ottima e abbondante colazione sotto gli alberi e di fronte al tempio, panorama mozzafiato. La signora del B&B gentilissima e disponibile. Lo consiglio.

Accoglienza affettuosa e cordiale. Il sorriso è l'allegria della proprietaria mettono tutti di buonumore. Poi la vista del tempio di Segesta di giorno è meravigliosa ma la sera fa sognare.... quando 2500 anni fa la cittadina era piena di vita, le attività fremevano ed i cuori dei suoi abitanti (gli Elimi) battevano forte nell'ammirare le stesse stelle che possiamo vedere anche oggi.

Un'oasi di pace in una location eccezionale con esclusiva vista tempio. Camere pulite e ben arredate. Colazione ottima. La cortesia e la disponibiilita della proprietaria meritano il massimo del punteggio.Ci ritorneremo.

Impresionante B&B con la máxima atención en una ubicación inmejorable y con unas vistas espectaculares.
El servicio y la atención por el personal es maravilloso.

Carinissimo posto isolato dalla frenesia della città. Buona colazione con bellissima vista tempio di Segesta. Niente da eccepire, consigliato

Posizione magica, quiete surreale, camera pulita e comoda bagno pulito e comodo con quello che serve in un bagno/lavanderia, sala della casa pulita e a disposizione come il portico all esterno, splendida colazione sia per l occhio che per le cose preparate dall ospite, la signora discreta, gentile, ed ospitale oltre l aspetto economico, hanno lasciato di questo luogo dove c erano un templio greco,un teatro greco ed una casetta in cima ad una collina un insieme di sensazioni che rimarranno sensibili per molto tempo, grazie signora antonia, (salvatore di patti)

Esperienza unica. Luogo magico, accoglienza cordiale. La Colazione davvero locale, a km0. Vale cento volte il prezzo. Peccato essere rimasto poco

La posizione di questa struttura meriterebbe 1000 stelle: un’oasi di pace con vista sul tempio.
