Hotel Des Alpes

My partner and I had an amazing stay in this lovely hotel tucked away in the nondescript corners of Saint-Rhemy. Beautiful view from the hotel balcony, great service from the staff, and dinner in the hotel restaurant is fantastic!

Our only downside has nothing to do with the hotel, but our journey of winding roads that wore us down on our first night of stay.

The manager really took care of the guests. We would always appreciate his enthusiasm and for introducing us local Genepi. He got us to taste it, and we loved it that we bought a bottle.

Regret not taking photos there, only videos, but here's a photo of one of the windows at the restaurant. You can already tell the view outside is breathtaking.

This a very charming hotel with a very good and helpful staff. We stayed few days ski touring and really appreciate the spa after a good effort. The restaurant is good with menu changing everyday! Really recommended! Thanks

We feel humbled and grateful to have found this gem in the high alps. The food and the room were excellent but the hospitality made this place stand out. My wife and I decided to make a stop after a very long road trip and they were able to accommodate our last minute request - with our dog no less! We feel absolutely lucky and wish it wasn’t just a stopover. Totally recommended.

The owner and his family were lovely helpful nice people. The rooms were fantastic. Big comfy beds awesome decor with local paintings on the walls. Beautiful old and new building with plenty of character. The views over the valley and mountains dreamlike. Would love to return again one day and explore the area more and just chill out in the tranquility.

A beautiful building in a stunning setting. The most important aspect though is the warm welcome and caring service. We arrived quite late after after a family problem but the owner went out of his way to look after us. The family room is great for 4 and the restaurant serves good, unfussy Italian mountain food. I thoroughly recommend this hotel, summer or winter.

This is probably my favourite Hotel in the world. The staff are fantastic, the location is amazing, and the food is superb.

We go here on a motorbike trip every time we're in the area and we have twice - literally - had the manager or his son running out to catch us as we leave to give us free local wine to take away with us. And because it is out of Ski season when we go it is all at a fraction of the cost of a chain hotel.

Wish I could give it 6 stars.

There was the idyllic view we had from our room, the excellent food at the restaurant, the attention to details that permeates through the place, but most striking of all, there was the immense generosity and availability of the maître d'hôtel, who, amongst so many other things, rounded two cars to take us to a trailhead on the day of our departure, and this on what was a busy morning for him. I can't say enough good things about this place and its staff, and I would love to come back. If you have a chance to stay at Hôtel Des Alpes, search no more!

The view from our room was spectacular

Such a cozy place with fireplace next to the table. We ate typical food that was very tasty.
We felt welcomed and we appreciated everything. Also the dessert was delicious.

I just used the restaurant from hotel. It had a cozy indoor area and food was great at resonable price. We had a christmas meal and one a la carta menu. Its shrimp quiche was awesome and the dessert cake was very nice as well. Good service as well!

We have stayed here 4 times in 5 years, lovely hotel with a brilliant owner who gives us the best room and food, friendly staff , highly recommend

Un hotel caratteristico e molto accogliente. Noi abbiamo soggiornato in un appartamento di proprietà dell'hotel praticamente nella stessa struttura.
La colazione e la cena sono eccellenti e la simpatia ed ospitalità del proprietario Leonardo rappresentano il plus che ti fa sentire a casa.
Personale gentilissimo e disponibile, un grazie in particolare a Francesco per la professionalità e cortesia.

Albergo caratteristico della Valle d'Aosta! Personale gentilissimo, l'attenzione verso il cliente è TOTALE! Ci siamo trovati molto bene! Abbiamo potuto sciare grazie alla disponibilità dello staff a prendersi cura del nostro piccolo cagnolino! Torneremo sicuramente in primavera per fare qualche escursione sulle bellissime montagne circostanti!!!
