Such a pearl in the Italian alps, only a few meters from the Swiss border. The old building and its interior is a work of art, full of original design and history. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious, the local Aosta wines and their knowledge about it was superb. Rooms clean and beds comfortable, standard as expected. Breakfast also top. Busy café on ground floor with lots of visitors, but still very friendly staff. Shorter and longer hikes available from the doorsteps.

Only stopped for breakfast, but so happy we did! Really tasty sandwiches and pastries, and good coffee. And with a lovely view as well.

Such a stunning part of the world, so isolated, open for just a few months a year. When crossing from Switzerland 🇨🇭 to Italy 🇮🇹 its free to use the old pass, stop at the top and enjoy a gelato or drink.

OMG! The St Bernard's pass is fabulous and you even get to Italy 🇮🇹... fabulous refreshments then down the other side through Italy and the tunnel back through to Switzerland 🇨🇭.... FANTASTIC!

What a location, situated on one of the best biking roads in the world and a great place to chill with an espresso

Grand experience here. The service was one of the best I have had. The antipasti were delightful and the pasta we had where purely amazing.

We, two persons and a dog 🐩, had two wonderful days here. Very satisfied, great hospitality, very tasteful food and wine.

Mi sono fermato qui per mangiare qualcosa durante un mio viaggio in moto e devo dire di aver trovato un locale molto accogliente. Mi ha servito una signora molto molto gentile, mi pare di aver capito che si chiami Marta. Ho mangiato un deliziosissimo panino del pellegrino, caldo con del prosciutto locale veramente molto buono. Il bancone offriva dei dolci che solo a guardarli facevano venire l'acquolina. Assolutamente consigliato!!!

Non capisco chi lascia commenti negativi, chi non apprezza. Ho trovato un locale storico curato, pulito, organizzato, ho contato più di dodici addetti ai tavoli.
Camere pulite, certo con l'arredo e lo stile da montagna, se volete tovaglie a righe azzurre andate a Capri.
Sala comune top, libri, giochi da tavolo, biliardo, divani...tutto gratuito.
Un cagnone che aspetta le tue coccole al tuo arrivo, posizione unica, personale presente, gentile... cani ben accolti.

In un posto meraviglioso che è il colle de Gran San Bernardo, perso tra le montagne il ristorante propone una larga scelta (considerando la localizzazione… ) di piatti tipici della valle d’Aosta a prezzi più che ragionevoli, prodotti tipici della Valle come la polenta o tagliere, vino al calice. Servizio accurato e cameriere simpatiche. Per noi è stato un’ottima esperienza!
