Joy's Place

Pizzas are wonderful, and the dough is just perfect! Grilled seafood was tasty and hearty portion. You could see that the vegetables were freshly cut and cooked. Pastas were great! We went twice! That is after trying out other „great“ restaurants in town.

What a lovely place. We were so happy to stumble across Joy’s Place on our short trip to Malcesine. The food was so tasty and the service really great with friendly staff.

Very friendly staff and tasty food which is value for money. The owner was very helpful and friendly. 🙏 Fish plate was tasty, especially with crispy skin. Bruschetta was served with spicy sauce which I liked. They even prepared a calzone without meat based on our request for our dietary restrictions. If you search for a place with nice view, this may not be your place. If you would like to end the evening with positive attitude and smiles, you will like this place. Better to call for reservation if you want to have a place outside.

It's hard to find, but it's worth the effort. The front door opens onto a staircase that leads to a dining area below the street level. The small terrace at the back is in an alley leading down to the lake. This is the nicest place to sit in the heat of the day. A typical Italian menu served quickly by friendly staff. Became our regular eating place during our visit to Malcesine.

Delicious food! Great portions, for both food and drinks. Seriously, the Aperol spritz was giant and really good! The service is also excellent. Can highly recommend.

The town was busy and we looked for a place less jazzy than others. A hot day and when we asked to eat inside owner immediately put on Aircon just for us. We both had pizza didn't expect them to be so huge and so reasonably priced. Big fresh salad, 2 pizzas 15inch, 2 cocktails, wonderful service and lovely people best meal of our holiday. All for 35euro.

Seems to be a Philippine couple running a restaurant. Stressed, but mindful and caring about their customers. The pizzas were great, but I wish I ordered the calzone like the neighbour table. It looked magnificent! We ended up paying under 60 euro for two huge pizzas, two aperol spritz, a bottle of wine, and a big tiramisu. And everything tasted great! Hurry up before they realize they can mark up their prices 50%

Quite possibly the best gnocchi I have ever had! The owner is simply the kindest man (stayed late to cook for us as we were the only ones) and you can feel the family atmpsphere.

Nice, place. It‘s hidden from the main street so you can eat in peace and silence.

The chef was really nice and friendly and seemed to really enjoy cooking an excellent meal for us.

We ordered, the thai dish consisting of grilled rice, scampi and spring-rolls. It was a nice change to the pizza and pasta, which you’ll find everywhere.

I can strongly recommend this restaurant!!

Probably the best restaurant in Malcesine! Excellent pizza, outstanding, fresh seafood! Garry the owner was really nice and made pizza rolls for us! The Wifi was not working properly, so he opened up his mobile hotspot and told us to use it! what a kind person. (100% better than the other restaurants that probably use fake reviews, Im reffering to restaurants in Limone Sul Garda) .See you next year Garry!

Joy's place is really a joy place. The owner is so humble and kind. One can feel his sincerity in the food he cooks. We went just 15 mins before the closing time but he was kind enough to cook for us.

The food quality is really appreciable. The freshness of all the sea food was the highlight. If you are in Malcesine, go visit this happy place

Joy’s Place is named after the sympathetic daughter of the kind owners of this very nice and good restaurant. It is situated in the centre of Malcesine with a small terrace in a narrow street near the lake and the small port which makes you feel like being in the authentic Italy. On the menu card are pasta, fish, meat and even filipino dishes. All of an excellent quality. It is a real recommendation to enjoy your lunch or dinner here!

Great cafe/restaurant, outside seating in courtyard and massive pizzas for €6-10! Highly recommended

Amazing food, it was so delicious! The place in this little dead end is gorgeous and the owner is really friendly, we went to Joy's twice in 2 days :) Would go there again next time I'm in Malcesine
