I think this is the best hotel of our trip in Italy. Anna and her parents are very friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms are very clean. This is the most hygienic, beautiful and well maintained hotel I guess. All equipment is also new and the day-cleaning is good. Private parking is available, breakfast is fine and dinner is also possible and very tasty. The only flaw is that the hotel is located on the top of the mountain. The location is not bad accessible, but the roads are very winding. You need approx 40min if you want to go to Amalfi. Beyond that, this is the hotel I highly recommended. Thank you.

Amazing!!! The owners, Anna was so sweet and special. Place was so clean everyday and modern. Perfect getaway from the day trips we took to Amalfi, Positano, Ravello. The food is the best we had and cooked by the owners, authentic. Only thing I will say is Rent a car, do not wait. Best idea ever was being able to drive down to the towns we visited. Ask for Angelo (BR Rent It) phone number, he was the best and made renting a quality vehicle stress free and efficient. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime view out your window and tranquility this is it!

The family who own & operate …. Fantastic. The food cooked by the mother who doesn’t speak a word of English …. Fantastic. The surprisingly modern and extremely clean rooms ….. Fantastic! This place is what I’ve been looking for in Italy, nestled high up in the country with an amazing view, they truly treat you like family :) for those who don’t have a car, they’ll pick you up & drop you off at the bus station, which costs 2€ to get into Amalfi. Couldn’t be happier with where I chose to stay!

Amalfi coast experience can be a bit stressful, expecially if you drive a car. So when we arrived at this place, it was just fantastic. Everything, the polite, calm and helpful family who made a really good three-course dinner. Beautiful rooms with amazing view - and no traffic noise. Just local animals and crickets. +they got parking :)

If you like to take a break from your busy life that's the place where to be .
Very relaxing , quite , clean , spacious rooms . They serve set menu for dinner wich was delicious ( all home made ) , and breakfast which was tasty as well . The owners are very kind , helpful and friendly . Few KM from most famous little towns ( Positano , Amalfi etc ) , hiking ( path of the gods ) or beach . Thank you for making our stay special !
Will definitely return soon.

Il Casale del Contadino is located high in the Agerola hills set in a peaceful and spectacular wooded location perched at the top of a hill offering crisp country air and breath-taking country and distant sea views. The owner Salvatore his wife and two girls Anna and Francesca are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and immaculately clean. They even service the room everyday and even make up the beds. Rooms have a lovely terrace and nice bathroom with walk-in shower and bidet. They provide an abundant Italian-style breakfast every morning including fresh fruit, home-made bakes, fresh bread, prosciutto and cheese and a choice of other breakfast eats. They also cater for an evening 3-course home-cooked meal.

This idyllic location makes it worth while the extra few miles drive there and back (about 25 mins) to reach the coastal roads leading to Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Pompei, Sorrento and Naples. The roads are narrow and winding zig-zags not ideal for novice or inexperienced drivers.

Just five minutes down the road you can find a few excellent and inexpensive local restaurants (L'Angolo dei Sapori, Hosteria La Pennata, and Ristorante La Selva recommended).

Il Casale is a perfect get away for a short break away from the commercial mainstream and off the beaten track. Good value and comfortable rooms.

I can not praise this place enough- it is an experience for your senses - the air is clear and fresh, the dinner was amazingly good ( do not miss the opportunity to have it!) and the people are the nicest and made us feel super welcome and good! Big big thanks!

Scrivo direttamente dalla camera con vista mare... Pulito e ben ordinato l'alloggio.
Cortesia e familiarità. Ottima colazione ed è possibile prenotare il pranzo o la cena.
È situato sulla collina e si gode di una splendida vista sulla costa.
Accesso consentito ai cani che hanno uno spazio adatto per i loro bisogni.

Ottima esperienza! Location familiare, personale accogliente, cibo ottimo, camere pulite e funzionali; vista dai balconi delle camere molto bella! Il proprietario Salvatore, ottimo padrone di casa, ci ha fatto spesso compagnia dopo cena, raccontando la sua vita e le sue esperienze. Insomma esperienza super positiva! Tutto il personale ben predisposto ad accontentare ogni esigenza del cliente! Consiglio vivamente!😉👌

Non lontano da Amalfi e Positano, posto tranquillo e accogliente. B&b con la possibilità di cenare su richiesta. Colazione dolce e salata servita su un piccolo buffet dove primeggiano un'invitante chiffon cake ed una ciambella con gocce di cioccolato ma anche croissant e crostata. Il personale è molto gentile ed accogliente.

Hemos estado recibidos por Francesca, una chica encantadora. La casa es muy bonita dando un ambiente de montaña. Las habitaciones son grandes y en la nuestra había cama de matrimonio + una 3a cama. Estaba todo muy cuidado y limpio. El desayuno incluido riquísimo. Volveríamos seguro.

Un lugar precioso y muy tranquilo con unas vistas impresionantes de las montañas y el mar. Habitaciones amplias y modernas. Desayuno muy completo. Francesca es muy amable y te ayuda con los planes que de pueden hacer por la zona.

Posto incantevole, non semplice da raggiungere la prima volta, ma, appena arrivati, pare di essere in un'altra dimensione, lontano dal frastuono e dalla fretta della città. Accoglienza eccellente con Salvatore in primis, il contadino del casale, che è un uomo d'altri tempi. Le ragazze, Anna e Francesca, dolcissime e sempre pronte a soddisfare ogni esigenza e, non per ultima, la moglie di Salvatore, nonché la cuoca del b&b. Piatti locali eccellenti preparati con semplicità e maestria. Prodotti dell'orto di Salvatore a m 0, salumi di sua produzione e indimenticabili le mozzarelle coi pomodori Rio Grande. Questo è l'amore per la propria terra che viene trasmesso a chi ha la fortuna di passare da queste parti. Complimenti, avanti così!

Non vedevo l'ora di lasciare la mia recensione per questo luogo che per me è come un piccolo angolo di paradiso dove è possibile ascoltare il profumo della natura e il canto degli uccellini insieme a quell'aria pulita e frizzantina ingredienti necessari per staccare un po' la spina. Per non parlare poi della struttura molto caratteristica ed accogliente, così come lo sono i proprietari. In particolar modo ci tengo a ringraziare il signor Salvatore....una persona semplice,gentile ed accogliente tanto da farti sentire come a casa.Penso di ritornarci sicuramente....la consiglio!
