Locanda Paradiso

Only apperitivo before we went to another place but wish we dined here! They brought a small tagliere, without meat for us, to have with our drink. The menu had a lot of local foods and vegetables sott'olio. The view is breathtaking, the servers extremely kind, and the vibe is super comfortable!

Love this place! Amazing pasta! Have made this a lunch stop on two different trips through Tuscany. Hope to go back again someday!

A very special hidden gem on a mountain top - fantastic espresso (shots are pulled from an amazing machine), and super tasty simple sandwiches.

This will be the fourth year my family will be spending a month in the area and hands down this is one of our favorites. The food is always delicious,seasonal and inventive. The staff is beyond friendly and attentive and the view cant be beaten. I’m counting down the days until they open..

I like this place so much. Great atmosphere and good authentic Crete Senese cuisine. I’m in the area every spring and always make the drive with friends to Paradiso. Aperitivi watching the sun go down outside and then whatever they suggest for dinner served family style and they’ve never let us down.

The obviously handmade Pici were simply outstanding, I don't think it matters what sauce you take them with, the noodles are gonna be the star of the show (but the aglione sauce I had was amazing as well). My partner had the fish and a side and was very pleased as well, the dessert we shared was also delicious. Service was quick and friendly and the ambiance obviously outstanding because of the beautiful view.

Don't understand the few recent negative reviews and think they might be a bit suspicious, because I really could not say anything bad about this place.

The staff was very friendly and the place is really nice. We had tagliatelle with mushrooms, pici cacio e pepe and ravioli and everything was good. Also we ordered a starter before with some local meat, very tasty.

Locanda Paradiso (“paradise inn”) lives up to its name. It’s a family-run restaurant — Pamela is the friendly head server, her mother is the excellent chef — and it specializes, like most restaurants, in Tuscan regional specialities. But don’t confuse this restaurant for a run-of-the-mill trattoria. It’s a very special place that, as a friend commented, could remind of you being in one of the mid-twentieth century neorealist films of Federico Fellini. Chiusure is a beautiful town of about 40 households, worth seeing in its own right, but Locanda Paradiso is its culinary gem. Try the fried zucchini blossoms, the bruschetta with tomatoes, olives, or anchovies, try the artichokes, the ribollita vegetable stew, and be sure to try the pecorino cheese with local truffle honey. Everything is delicious!

Wonderful small Locanda in Chiusure with down to earth Tuscan food and great wines. Nice location with view over The Valley. Will definitely come again.

Great little family run Locanda. Short menu, simple tasty food a regular favourite. Pretty location, great views on the drive there and a great sunset. Nice for lunch and dinner.

Wonderful service and Tuscan food. Got two appetizers, two specials, a beer and a big glass of house wine and it came to 32 euro. One of the best meals I’ve had in two weeks in Italy. Highly recommended.
