Razmataz | Wine Bar Catania

First of all the food was super delicious! Best lasagna I ever ate and it seems to be home cooked and super fresh! Also the service was really friendly and mindful. Our card didn’t work and we had a few euros too little and they said it’s okay. They were so nice! I can only recommend it! Also we had a reservation and had to wait for like 5 minutes for it and they gave us free wine (which was very good)! Would definitely recommend it to everyone! But maybe do a reservation if you want to sit outside in the evening.

We only stopped here for a while on our way to the station. Even though it was lunchtime and the place was completely full, the staff found us a table and brought us a drink and complementary snacks. The service was very quick and friendly, even stopping for a quick chat in English. The daily menu looked appealing and the prices were reasonable.

Excellent food and very good service. We tried some delicious meals: fenel salad with oranges, gratin potatoes with spinach, sicilian pork sausage and some amazing meatballs cooked on lemon leaves. I have to mention that the corner where is the restaurant is very cosy and nice.

Strangely, this is coming up as a hotel and not as a restaurant, which it is. Regardless, the meals and drinks here are superb, with a wonderful, shady outdoor seating area. The daily specials are tasty and affordable. Lots of locals hang out here, even though it is just off the main shopping and tourist street in Catania.

This restaurant was recommended by our AirBnB host. The food was outstanding - chicoria, parmigiana, potato croquettes, cod fritters, spaghetti ala Norma, and even the spaghetti with plain tomato sauce was great! Leo and the rest of the staff provided great service. The staff also wear funny food-related T-shirts 😆.

Just walking by on our first day in Catania. They are open after 3 which is rare. Food was DELICIOUS! Service superb! Will go back for sure. We had the ravioli stuffed with ricotta covered with pork and sausage ragú and the zucchini flower lasagna (no tomato sauce), and a fabulous buffalo mozzarella caprese, a local red wine complimented our meal. Fresh ingredients ❤

Just as good as Boheme, in my opinion, which is located just next door. Great people, amazing drinks. Thank you for all the memories!

We came here 3 times over 2 days through no coincidence; this place is the reason you go out to eat and drink - great service, food and atmosphere. The waiters are friendly, the food is lovely (and very reasonably priced) and the location is spot on. Whilst in Catania make sure you check this place out!

Best pasta i have ever ate(veganised pasta alla norma- without ricotta cheese). Amazing. Riso nero was also mindblowing. Very good wine

An absolute star of the Catania food and wine scene, we were pointed here by our apartment owners, and were not disappointed. We ate here twice, with an almost completely different menu on each occasion (which seems to change based on the freshness of the food). Staff were very accommodating for our family of five, making room for us, with great friendly service. Food was brilliant across the board, and the fish was so good that one of our children who "hates fish" begged to go back for more... To top it all off, from the huge selection of wine we were recommended two different bottles by the wait staff, both from the local vineyards of Etna - both were spectacular, some of the nicest white wine we've ever enjoyed

The photos don’t do this place any justice! Do not skip. We stumbled in, not expecting much at all and were completely blown away.

I’m sitting here writing a review after eating 3 courses. i feel light, happy and satisfied.

We had Salmon Sashimi with avocado, kiwi and citrus fruits + oysters + salmon tartare with avocado. 😋 Superb!

We weren’t ready to have dessert, so the kitchen created an off the menu Octopus carpaccio with a sweet citrus sauce. Sublime 🐙

Then dessert came along, we opted for the cream tartlet pastries with dark chocolate mousse 🍫. Wow! They were completely on point.

The local wine was yummy, the staff was friendly and the vibes in the alley way, definitely lively. 🎶

All the other reviews, don’t recognise how well the kitchen cooks… Don’t skip ☺

Enchanting place to have a drink before dinner!

Very nice restaurant where the locals eat. The menu consists of fresh dishes that are only available as long as the stock lasts. Freshly made every day.
Staff could be more caring but is very friendly.

Mmm really good food, also vegetarian food is good. I would say that this is the Catania place that should be visited (one of the few)

A very climatic place set in the center of Catania. The outside area is covered by shade of the trees, which provides shade.

The waiter was very helpful and friendly, asking us where we are form and what we do. He then promptly asked us what kind of wines we like and recommended a delicious regional sparkling wine.

We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the wine was great. Definitely recommend this place to wine lovers and people long for a nice relaxing place in the bustling center of Catania.

Small oasis of beauty and charm in this otherwise rather sad city. Great food. If they have the chocolate mousse - holy F*ck it is the best dessert on this planet. (Ok.. presentation is un-impressive but seriously.. best ever!)

Excellent "norma" pasta (and that's an understatement). Gazpacho was very good aswell. Nice and friendly staff. Highly recommended!
