I Casali Del Moraiolo

Villa with an absolutely stunning 360 view and fantastic pool. We had a great stay here with the whole family. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. Weather outside went up to or even above 40 celsius, but the airco inside was able to deal with it easily. I will certainly return here. Only point of attention for me could be an update to the kitchen gear (pans, cutlery etc).

I wish I could give a one word review, but it does not do justice for the experience my family received! Granted there was background information on all parties involved on our visit, we did not ask for anything specific but much was thought out and everyone on our trip was spoiled by their own delight! I recommend

We are on a 6 week European tour and decided to take a break from the cities to visit the beautiful Umbrian countryside. Our visit to Casali del Moraiolo and the Villa Nocino has been the highlight of our trip so far. We were greeted by Floriana and her daughter who were so kind and welcoming, sharing all the tips to make the most of our stay, including wine that was produced by our lovely hosts. While we enjoyed taking a day trip to the small towns nearby (including the beautiful town of Assisi), our best time was spent on the property - relaxing by the gorgeous pool, being visited by Louis (the friendliest cat of all time), and being invited to watch the sunset at the large villa which was truly paradise with their incredible sunsets. We hope to be back someday, bringing our entire family to take advantage of the full property. Our only regret is not staying longer. Bellisima!

We just returned from a holiday at Il Moraiolo. A fantastic house with ample outdoor area and a beautiful pool. The views are amazing at any time of the day and the house served our group of 8 persons very well. Floriana is a fantastic host. Daniela, who prepared breakfast for us everyday is highly recommended too. Can't wait to return.

The entire property is absolutely beautiful. Floriana is a lovely host and makes sure to take care of everything you can wish for. We stayed in the smaller, two bedroom house Castle Nocino and it was really beautiful. Very traditional but with all the comfort and amenities you could wish for on a summer holiday. It’s quite remote and separated from the neighbors and the private pool right next to the house is absolutely amazing. A blessing during a hot Italian summer. We also booked the home-cooked Umbrian Dinner by the house chef Daniela and it was absolutely delicious. I can more than recommend this, it’s a super cool experience with a lovely and delicious evening guaranteed.
It’s important to note that although not visible from the property at all, there are two larger roads passing by the property which means there is some car noise during the day, although it’s not super prominent. Overall we had a lovely time here and would definitely come again. Thank you so much for the great stay, Floriana.

WOW!! Everything was pure perfection! Amazing hosts, amazing views, incredible house with more amenities than you can imagine. They brought in a private chef for a traditional Umbrian dinner prepare using the wood fire brick oven. Fantastico! The most special stay we have enjoyed anywhere in the world. Top notch. First class all the way. Floriana even wrote a book about the region. No detail was overlooked. We will be back!

We booked I Casali Del Moraiolo to come to our villa and cook for 14 guests on 2 occasions. Floriana and her team were very welcoming and accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious! Nothing was too much trouble and they did a pasta making class with us which was so much fun. The experience was very special for us and we highly recommend them! 10/10

Words cannot describe how truly magical I Casali del Moraiolo is! My husband and I spent three wonderful days in the romantic Il Nocino villa, the most intimate of the three villas, with its beautiful, newly renovated private pool surrounded by olive trees. We were welcomed by the lovely Floriana, who answered every question and attended to every request. Its central location allowed us to tour different medieval towns in Umbria each morning and then return to enjoy EXCEPTIONAL lunches and dinners designed and prepared by Daniela, the property's incredibly talented and friendly private chef. We felt pampered our whole stay and left fully rejuvenated. If I could give this place 6 stars out of 5, I would. We look forward to returning again and again.

Two weeks ago we started our vacation not knowing what to expect. After a warm, friendly welcome we could discover la Casita Nocino. A charming, fully equipped house with an over the top swimming pool. Which our children, and we, fully enjoyed. This located on a beautiful piece of land that gave us harmony and the rest we needed. Thanks to your tips and information we visited many places here in Italy.

We will never forget our trips to Todi, Spello, Montefalco, Deruta and our family dinners at “Trattoria Al Leone”.
A nice Italian restaurant with lots of good food and great wines!

For now there is nothing left to say, perhaps we will meet again some other time!

My Husband and I traveled to Italy in September 2021 for our delayed honeymoon / work trip. I am a sommelier and my husband is a chef with our own business. We met Floriana, the host via Instagram in 2019 and have stayed in touched since. We were thrilled to be going to Italy and to be staying at her amazing place. Needless to say even the gorgeous pictures, the stunning videos and more than pleasant chats with the host still couldn’t have prepared us for how absolutely breathtaking and wonderful Casali Del Moraiolo is and absolutely spectacular Floriana and her Family. The hospitality, generosity, and love we were shown is too much to put into words. The experiences we had while there far surpassed our expectations. From private cooking classes and dinners to meeting the major, this stay was BY FAR the best part of our trip to Italy and we will ALWAYS return to this Casali for the wonderful stay and wonderful hosts!

The l Casals Del Morailo was beyond our best expectations! We were amazed at the location way up on a hilltop and looking over the valley with the most beautiful sunsets! The infinity pool, the outdoor pergola, the pizza oven, the pasta making class, the wonderful house with the best accommodations… everything was simply perfect! But most all, the people, from Daniella to Floriana to her daughter Lucia and her husband Layo, what a pleasure, what a great family, what wonderful hosts. We have made friends in Umbria for life and we cannot wait to return! Oh, and I forgot to mention our trip to Deruta to visit the pottery making store and factory and our surprise visit with the Mayor, WOW, words cannot describe!
All I can say is go to Umbria, go to this wonderful and magical hilltop place and your dreams will unfold. Thank you so much Floriana and family for making our trip to Italy the best one out of the 6 times I have visited your beautiful country! Non posso che assegnare cinque stelle a questa straordinaria esperienza che ha superato ogni mia aspettativa. Innanzitutto, l'ubicazione del casale è semplicemente perfetta. Immerso nella campagna umbra, circondato da colline verdi e rigogliosi ulivi, offre una pace e una tranquillità impareggiabili. Sin dal primo momento in cui ho varcato la soglia, io e la mia famiglia ci siamo sentiti avvolti da un'atmosfera di serenità e relax.
Le strutture del casale sono state ristrutturate con cura e attenzione al dettaglio, mantenendo intatte le caratteristiche architettoniche tradizionali umbre, ma con tutti i comfort moderni. Il casale che Floriana ci ha assegnato "Villa Roseto" era accogliente, pulito e arredato con gusto, offrendo una vista mozzafiato sulla campagna circostante.
Un punto di forza di questa struttura è sicuramente la gentilezza e l'ospitalità dei proprietari. Fin dall'arrivo sono stati estremamente disponibili e premurosi, facendoci sentire come a casa. Ci hanno fornito preziosi consigli su cosa visitare nella zona e su dove gustare le prelibatezze della cucina umbra.
Durante il mio soggiorno ho avuto anche l'opportunità di partecipare a escursioni organizzate nei dintorni, scoprendo borghi medievali incantevoli e paesaggi mozzafiato (Orvieto, Todi, Civita di Bagnoregio, Assisi, Gubbio e Perugia, sono tutte raggiungibili in 30/40 minuti).
In conclusione, consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chiunque desideri vivere un'esperienza autentica e rilassante in Umbria. Non vedo l'ora di tornare e ripetere questa meravigliosa esperienza, a presto Floriana e tutta la sua Famiglia.

Posto pazzesco, ha superato di gran lunga le nostre aspettative. La casa è accogliente e dotata di qualsiasi comfort dagli accessori per la cucina, per la tavola, per il tempo libero. La spa è davvero una chicca. L’host è stata gentilissima rispondendo tempestivamente ad ogni nostra esigenza. La posizione collinare della casa, di fronte al tramonto ed il modo in cui è stata finemente costruita, internamente ed esternamente, permette di godere del meraviglioso paesaggio che gli fa da cornice.

Un luogo incantevole immerso nella natura adatto per passare giorni di relax in famiglia ma perfetto anche per un fine settimana tra amici.
Sono stata a settembre con un gruppo di amiche abbiamo usufruito della stupenda piscina e della cucina della formidabile cuoca la quale ci ha preparato una cena ottima adatta alle nostre esigenze vegetariane .
Sono tornata a Natale per un fine settimana in famiglia e i miei figli non sarebbero mai andati via !
Floriana una perfetta padrona di casa gentilissima e sempre disponibile ci ha suggerito cosa fare e cosa visitare .
Ci tornerò presto e lo stra consiglio !

Frequento i casali da molti anni, luoghi magnifici, moltissime attività tra cui scegliere e location mantenuta alla perfezione, se aggiungiamo la cordialità di Floriana e degli altri il risultato è eccezionale.

Ho avuto il privilegio di trascorrere un incantevole weekend al casale di Floriana e Leonello a Piedicolle, in Umbria. La magia di questo posto si svela all'arrivo, con un paesaggio mozzafiato che abbraccia l'intera proprietà: colline verdi e vallate dipinte da una mano artistica, una tavolozza di colori che cambia con le sfumature del cielo.

La struttura stessa è un gioiello architettonico.
Gli interni sono un equilibrio perfetto tra il rustico e l'elegante, dove ogni dettaglio è curato con amore e attenzione. Le camere trasudano comfort e stile, offrendo un'atmosfera di pura serenità.

Ma ciò che ha reso il nostro soggiorno davvero indimenticabile è stata l'accoglienza calorosa di Floriana e Leonello. Oltre ad essere ospitali, sono veri custodi di segreti locali, pronti a condividere gemme nascoste e consigli su dove esplorare l'Umbria autentica.

Se cercate un'esperienza che catturi l'anima di questa splendida regione, non potete fare scelta migliore. Il casale del Moraiolo è una gemma nascosta che brilla con luce propria. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci e lasciarmi nuovamente avvolgere dalla sua magia.
