This place is phenomenal, a low key hidden gem in Umbria. The woman managing/hostess was so kind, you can tell they really care about customers. The pizza and pasta are great, and far better than the pizza we had in Rome. Pana Cotta was surprisingly light and delicious. We came for lunch and dinner it was that good!

They can get very busy, so just come and enjoy your meal, great service and local people watching. If you are visiting the area this is a must try.

Diamond in the Umbria! Amazing pizza disguises this local haunt from tourists. We had the best time and came back for dinner twice. If you are within driving distance you must visit and the sunset I've the hills is another highlight.

We had a very nice meal. The service was great and the portion sizes were very generous. Definitely book in advance. Would highly recommend and would definitely return next time we are in Collazone.

Al Leone is located in the beautiful hilltop town of Collazone. It may be the only restaurant in town, but it is a great place to enjoy a great meal and great service. We ate there twice. Truffles, grilled meat, pizzas, local wine, lovely hosts and service, a lovely setting. This is the total package for a great value!

Very good pasta and pizzas with generous portion. If you are around this area, this is the place to eat if you want to eat like locals :)

A wonderful restaurant to eat local and food full of taste, with family or couples. Loved everything that I got there, the antipasti was full with salami, cheese and bread. Their plates were big and I couldn't even finish it but they packed the rest and give it to us. You can also find good and local bio wines. The view is amazing with the sunset 😍 Highly recommended.

So first off we didn't know that in all the small towns in Italy the afternoon is no mans land. Time off. Sleepy nap time. Everything closes. We drove around a while trying everything from restaurants to grocery stores to gas stations and nothing was open. Finally we stumbled on this spot and the owner was so kind to serve us despite being in the process of closing. We ended up getting some wine, some meats and cheeses, pita and potatoes and everything was fantastic. Cute little spot and delicious food! You have to go if you're in the area.

What a delicious restaurant! They took us in without a reservation, 30 minutes before closing. The best dish of pasta I have had in my recent memory: Stangozzi pasta with broad beans, bacon and pecorino cheese. Local wines were on the menu and everything was so well priced. You must go if you are in the area!

The staff was very nice. Our meals were great. Tagliata di Scottona al tartufo was very good as well as our Antipasto misto and Francesca pizza. Very much recommend.

We ate here through the Google reservation. We were very surprised that it worked out & the food was insane. The steak with tartufo & the dish with local pig are recommended.

waiters were friendly and helpful. food was so delicious that we came 2 times in a week both times enjoying the time we spent there. Service was lovely definitely recommend
