Borgo la Chiusa - Holiday Rentals Siena

We rented all three properties at Borgo La Chiusa for a family reunion and could not have been happier! The venue exceeded our expectations in terms of location, facilities, and quality. There were five families, and we felt connected but with our own space. Francesca was an excellent host and provided a delicious dinner for us on our first night. The candle-lit setting under the vine-covered verandah, with views of the surrounding countryside, was perfect! A week wasn’t long enough!!

This was our second trip to Tuscany and our second stay at the Fienile Villa at Borgo la Chiusa. I can't say enough good things about our experience. The villa was set up perfectly for the 3 couples but could easily accommodate more. It felt so private even though there are 2 other villas on the property. There is so much space inside and outside the villa to feel like you are not on top of each other. Every detail has been thought about by Francesca and Rosalino and the entire property is spotless inside and out. They work so hard at keeping their property top notch. 7 nights was not enough so we will have to come back again. If you have time to arrange a traditional Tuscan dinner prepared by Francesca and her good friend Vanna, I would highly suggest it. Worth every Euro.

My friend and I spent a month in Tuscany. We rented a villa, the Borgo la Chiusa. It was a trip of a lifetime. The main reason was our host, Francesca. Francesca was the most gracious, kind, accommodating person. We could not have asked for a better host. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and welcomed. She gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants. There was nothing that we were wanting for, that is how wonderful she is. My travel partner got sick, Francesca took us to a doctor, stayed with us at the appointment, and even took us to the Farmacia that was closed. She made a phone call and viola the Farmacia opened up for us and my friend got some meds that she desperately needed. That is how amazing Francesca was. The villa was impeccable. It was clean, decorated beautifully. The landscaping was just gorgeous and meticulous. This is a long review, I hope you've read the entire review because that is how great of an experience it was at Borgo la Chiusa! Book this villa, you will not be disappointed. Francesca was AMAZING!!

Our first night home after 12 nights in this most special place of “home away from home.” The inside space which provides for being together or being alone, the beautiful grounds and pool which are meticulously maintained and the warm welcome and attention from Francesca make this the most perfect vacation spot I know. We hit many of the tourist destinations we knew and some we had never heard of, but at the end of the day, the quiet of the villa and the surrounding countryside offered the respite we dreamed of. Thank you, Francesca, for the idyll you have created with quick access to the beautiful city of Siena.

Farmhouse situated about 15-20m from Siena this was a perfect tranquil getaway. The yard is well cared for, the pool was a nice way to cool down and the apartment was well equipped. We are enjoying our week long stay here

Such a beautiful experience. 10/10 will always recommend.

Buongiorno, ho dato 4 stelle, perché pur essendo stato li solo per lavoro,mi sono reso conto del livello che può avere un locale del genere. Soltanto percorrere il vialetto di arrivo vedendo il pratino ottimamente curato,fa subito effetto. Ripeto ,15' per fare uno scarico di GPL,e non la frequentazione come cliente però mi hanno dato questa positiva impressione.
