Villa-Tartagli Bassi - premium luxury Holiday Villa in Umbria

We had a wonderful time at the beautiful ‘Villa-Tartagli Bassi’ in an equally beautiful location. The house has been renovated with love in Italian style, with an eye for authentic details and comfort. This is evident in the soul of the house, the large kitchen with a table for 10 people, and in all 5 bedrooms with private bathrooms. The eat-in kitchen with a fireplace is also a wonderful place to spend the evening together if you choose to spend your evening indoors. Few homes have such luxurious kitchen furnishings, which shows the owners passion and their desire to share it with others. We really enjoyed that.
If you are with several couples or as a family, you do not have to be on top of each other all the time. There is plenty of space in the house, garden, or surrounding area for walks or some ‘me time’, which is wonderfully and relaxing.
The view from the villa is phenomenal, overlooking the valley with a sunset view. The very large garden has many olive trees, a large swimming pool, several terraces, a luxurious outdoor kitchen, and an authentic pizza oven (very tasty!). There is also a lovely natural ‘shade terrace’ for the hottest moments of the day, shadow created by a beautiful tree, which is really idyllic. Despite the heavy rainfall predicted during our stay, we were lucky to have beautiful weather and only had rain once in the evening because the rain stayed at the other side of the hill. We were also able to help with the olive harvest and watch the olive pressing, which was a very pleasant, wonderful, and delicious experience.
The house is conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Paciano, where you can find restaurants, and a few minutes’ drive to the beautiful town of Panicale. There are also large supermarkets in the area and of course Lake Trasimeno, and many other beautiful destinations. If you’re interested in exploring further, the express train to Florence or Rome is just a 20-minute drive from the house.

Hard to beat views across both Umbria and Tuscany, very well equipped property with beautiful pool and gardens. Abundant olive groves and a pizza oven. Family friendly and a 5 minute stroll to the village with bars and restaurants.
