Absolutely incredible restaurant. The owner is front of house - making you laugh and fantastic service. His wife in the kitchen cooking the most beautiful authentic Umbrian food. You eat overlooking the stunning landscape. Thank you so much! We loved it. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff. Amazing views. The food is amazing. Blown away by every dish. If you can only pick one side dish, make it the radicchio.

Umbria is having loads of great restaurants. I could mention many and it is true, that Umbria is the little sister of Toscany. BUT: one of the best restaurants with a stunning view into The Valley and the Trasimeno Lake is Il Casale. The food is so delicious and hand-made and cooked in this little cucina. The waiter is so polite and is looking after his clients. Don’t miss the bruschetta and the filet with tartufo accompanied by a good red wine 🍷. Rosso di Vino Nobile Montepulciano would be my recommendation.

This is a true Italian place with a stunning view and amazing food. The service is excellent and very personal, just take it easy and enjoy the vibe. If you stay here or book at 9 pm you have the chance to meet Italian families having dinner. We came at 7pm when they opened and it was perfect for the view of the hills, lake, mountains in the background and sunset!! The duck was soo tasty I recommend! 5 stars. Fair prices and great place to have dinner!

Had an amazing truffle tagliatelle for lunch. The pasta has very nice texture, chewy and perfectly cooked. Awesome view from the top of the hill location. Very homely feel.

The view alone is worth the trip out to Il Casale. The food was also incredible. We particularly enjoyed the duck breast with porcini and the grilled radicchio.

Every time I visit Il Casale the food is superb, the staff delightful and the views from the terrace to die for.
People travel from around the world to dine here and it's no surprise. An experience not to be missed if you are in Umbria.

But Love worked its magic and we married in Italy.
Our Wedding meal with all our friends was at II Casale it was and still is the best day of our lives.

Every time we go to Italy we have at least one meal at II Casale. Michelin Stars are awarded to the best for creative cooking for real Italian cooking 'That mama still makes' its at II Casale!!!
