Maurizio and his wife and staff are truly special. They were like having family here. We were from the States and a long way home, but he was so wonderful in helping us feel warm and welcome. It was my wife’s birthday while here in Amalfi and I asked Maurizio with some help getting flowers as a surprise for her. He made it happen, and they even got her a cake as a surprise.

This place is great. He’s such a nice man and family. His nephews help with luggage free of charge up all the stairs. His wife is here helping with breakfast (included). He makes fresh pastries, coffee, orange juice and more!

The most cosy b&b, with an amazing view!
Nice rooms, which is well kept and with everything you need.
The family is incredibly sweet in helping with tips to the area and making sure you are comfortable.
Breakfast is served at the terrace overlooking the city, with a lot of different options - including delicious homemade cake selection.
This b&b is definitely worth all the steps!

Idyllic—that’s the only word to describe our stay at O’Lattariello. Maurizio and his family were incredibly warm and welcoming, offering a peaceful perch above Amalfi.

Any adventure into town begins with a small hike down one of sundry (sunny) spindly alleyways, dropping you right in front of whatever you’re after. You begin with peaceful quiet and the noises of the day trickle down around you as you make your descent.

The rooms are pleasant, the views are delightful, and the walk to town in the morning (and back from town at night) is incomparable.

Please, give them a visit. I will make sure to stop by again—I owe Mauricio a few espressos on me :)

Extremely accommodating and friendly hosts. They help with getting luggage all the way up and down. Great rooms and views. Best of all was the home made breakfast and the variety of home made cakes. They are to die for.

Beautiful views and the best attentive hosts. The host Mauricio and his team met us for check in and brought our suitcases up, contact them at check in to ensure they show you the way up. Their attention and friendliness made this place the best in our whole stay in Italy. The breakfast was great with amazing views and they offer dinner as well which was also very good after walking around all day, Angelina was very attentive. We would def book them again. 5+ stars for hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay. Located with a perfect view over Amalfi (~10 minutes uphill stairs if you’re fit, otherwise there is also an elevator, free of charge but also out of order during our visit). Everything was super clean & breakfast was good. Maurizio was very hospitable, provided a lot of information on how to get around, recommended restaurants & helped us with our luggage. I would definitely recommend & visit again any time!

We just finished a fantastic four night stay and will definitely go back again. O’Lattariello has an amazing combination of beauty, charm and hospitality. Maurizio, Luciana and their crew are exceedingly friendly and helpful. The views are outstanding, as is the food. We loved how quiet it is but it’s still just a few minutes to all of Amalfi’s action. Although everyone speaks English and French (at least), we especially appreciated their patience with us and our Italian. We will definitely be back!

This bed and breakfast is the most amazing place we've stayed in our whole trip. The view is absolutely stunning!! It is about a 10 minute walk from the restaurants and beach which was perfect. Maurizio and his family went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable, even going as far as to carry our bags up all of the steps. They provide a delicious breakfast and amazing cappuccinos. I cannot recommend this place enough, for the incredible views and amazing hospitality!

This place was great! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The room was very cute and clean - great view as well! Breakfast was delicious (although I'll admit - I only had cake). They help you with carrying the luggage up and down as well if needed. Amalfi is great for hikes and they even gave me a book with some of the trails in it and knew what would be accessible or not or which way to get there. Honestly, I stayed at multiple family owned B&Bs/small hotels during this trip as well as a 4-star hotel and the B&Bs were by far the most positive experience - I really recommend staying somewhere smaller but where you really feel welcome.

I've been to Italy a few times and stayed at various places. This cute B&B run by Maurizio and his family has been BY FAR the most welcoming and most pleasant experience of all.

We were greeted down at the ferry harbor for luggage pick-up and then welcomed with a freshly squeezed lemonade once we reach the premises up in the rocks. You have to be prepared to climb a few stairs, but you'll be rewarded with the most stunning views (at day and night).

Having breakfast in his front yard in the early morning with the view down to the town center is one of the highlights of our stay. With the morning sun just starting to kiss the top of the cathedral downtown, you'll be sipping on Maurizio's delicious coffee or freshly pressed orange juice, and nibbling on the tastiest fresh figs from his own garden. We really miss this place and the vibe, and would always come back here.

We had a wonderful time at this family-run B&B. The rooms are clean, the rain shower was spacious, the water pressure was good, and the bed was very comfortable. The panoramic terrace (right next to the lemon trees) has amazing views of Amalfi and is the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Maurizio, the owner, is friendly and extremely hospitable. Before our arrival, he confirmed timing to help us with our bags and ensure we got to the hotel ok. He also helped us when we left, which was definitely appreciated. If you’re thinking about staying here - don’t hesitate. Would definitely come back on our next trip!

This is an amazing place!
Luciana and Maurizio are the loveliest hosts and made us feel more than welcome. It’s quite a steep hike uphill, but you’ll be rewarded with the most incredible view - never had such a beautiful breakfast (which itself is amazing) view ever before - and needless to stay our hosts made sure we didn’t have to carry a single thing uphill ourselves.
Highly recommended!

I just had the most amazing time in Amalfi thanks to staying in this lovely small hotel with the best view in town. This family run hotel is absolutely amazing. I never experienced a hospitality this excellent,
definitely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service. The view, the garden, the breakfast under lemon trees, fresh Italian homemade cakes by Maurizio(the owner), super clean room, restaurant tips, best limoncello spritz. To sum it up, if you get a chance to stay here and if you are fit enough to take the 300 steps up (perfect to earn the Italian food 😄) do it. It will just make you so happy! Absolutely loved it ♥! One of the best hotels I ever stayed at and I will definitely be back!

We spent an absolute fantastic week at O' Lattariello. Mauricio is a wonderful and warmhearted host and didn't miss anything.
After a very late arrival Mauricio and his team picked us up at the bus stop to care of our luggage while stepping up the stairs to his house, beautifully located on the top of the mountain valley.
We were so happy to find a beautiful prepared antipasti and wine for us this evening. The morning started with a delicious breakfast under the lemon trees at the terrace overlooking Amalfi with a breathtaking view.
Not only five different cakes, which are hard to resist, but also a very good omelette, toast, cereals and fruit salad are served in the morning. The newly renovated rooms have a bright and cosy atmosphere, are very well looked after and superclean.
Mauricio has recommended many very nice excursions and restaurants to us and always had an open ear for our questions and needs. For us it was a birthday trip and the joy of the warm surprise was very great. We couldn't have wished for this trip better. Thank you Mauricio and the Lattariello team!

This is a charming family-run B&B in a peaceful and spectacular setting looking down to the town and port of Amalfi. Maurizio and other family members are the perfect hosts starting with carrying your luggage from the port and serving a hearty delicious breakfast in the garden with its stunning views of the sea below. Rooms are spotless and well appointed (my room had a beautiful view of the port and sea) and Maurizio is always available to help with restaurant, bus and other valuable information. Small touches like his beautifully presented cappuccino, his limoncello made from his lemon trees or serving you a glass of wine while you relax and read a book in his garden beneath his lemon trees insure that you will have a memorable stay. When I left to take the bus to my next town, Maurizio not only carried my suitcase down to the bus station but spoke to the driver asking him to tell me when to hop off. He insisted on waiting and as the bus left, he called my next B&B to let them know what bus I was on! A+ for warmth, hospitality and service. You will not regret staying here!

It was one of the best stays I have ever had, both thanks to sublime views we had from the room and care and respect of the family who runs the place. Maurizio and Luciana are hospitable, courteous and very helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy with spacious bathroom, and everything inside is fully operational. Views over the town are stunning, and breakfast deserves a special attention - it is served in an orchard with multiple things to choose from. 6 starts out of 5!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Amalfi is a beautiful town to visit anyway, but our stay here made it so much more wonderful. Maurizio and his family are such welcoming people, and they go to great lengths to ensure all their guests have the best experience. There are a fair few steps to get to the hotel, however the view is so worth it and they will help bring your bags up for you - which is a fine example of the customer service experienced at O'Lattariello.

Seriously amazing! Owner goes above and beyond to accommodate and make you feel welcome. We were met at the port to assist with luggage and show us the way. It's a bit of a trek but well worth the views you're rewarded with during your stay. Everything is delicious from breakfast to the fresh squeezed lemonade from their lemon trees. The rooms are clean and simple. Within walking distance of Port, beach, shops, and restaurants. All around an amazing experience.

A very beautiful stay in Amalfi. Rooms were exceptionally clean, has a full view of Amalfi from the property. The owners are so friendly they treat you very well and they give you all the information about the place. The breakfast was the best . They offer very tasty home made cakes for breakfast, fresh fruits and much more. Would really recommend this place without doubt. But make sure you call the owner when you arrive at the port or bus because in Google it says 6 mins walk but you have to take the long stairs nearly 200 steps ( we were not aware of this carried all our luggages by the stairs and came to the property, it was so tiring). So, There's a lift that brings you near the property and the owner will help you with this, they give access to the lift and also carry your luggages to the property. Loved it for everything. Thank you love from India ❤
