Amazing place! Super cosy restaurant with super nice furniture with an eye for detail.

Excellent dishes for reasonable prices. One of the best food we had on the Amalfi coast.

I can especially recommend the seafood pasta and the pizza.

Finally a Osteria, a proper Osteria, fit to call it Osteria. The place itself is very rare combination of good taste, crazy ceramic art, perfect colors and smooth, easy ambiance. The food is amazing. Matteo, the host-fisherman is a welcoming natural-raw guy. Just trust him to get the best on your table. The wine selection is well balanced with the food menu and the natural wine section is lovely. Don’t need to drive too far along the Amalfi coast. Vietri, Sesta Stazione, is the best stop to taste the Mediterranean food.

We were highly impressed with every aspect of Sesta Stazione. We had read about it on a Slow Food website and arrived with high expectations. Sesta Stazione not only met our expectations; it exceeded them! Using local and sustainable ingredients, they serve dishes that are simple and yet exquisite. The subtlety and nuance of flavor was remarkable, and even the simple grilled vegetables which nearly every restaurant serves were somehow intensely and marvelously flavorful. They clearly search for the best ingredients possible, and prepare everything with love and attention to detail. The setting is lovely, too, with a wide terrace in a quiet area away from the noise of the main streets. Thank you, Matteo and everyone at Sesta Stazione!

Cozy restaurant with a very good food selection. Excellent to sit outside under the canopy during a sunny day! Most memorable for us were the fried seafood and the lemon dessert (delizia al limone)

We just went there spontaneously. Just go in and ask. The personal is very nice, the food is as well. We were able to eat vegan. It was all under the verdure section. It was some really good baked potatoes and some special Neapolitan broccoli (which tastes nothing like Brokkoli, more like a more firm spinach). And best of all it was not pricey at all. (And if you care: the interior is nice to.)

We have dined here several times and it has become our go-to place in Vietri sul Mare when we want a relaxed seafood lunch. The place is charming with its just-right shabby-chic ambiance and attention to detail in the decor to make it fun but not stuffy (both inside and out on the whimsical patio). Service has always been great and the food is excellent, using local products. It's a Slow Food eatery so don't expect a quick dine-and-dash experience, as food is made to order. Those who wrote that it's one of the best restaurants on the Amalfi Coast aren't exaggerating.

What to try? The seafood dishes! Whatever the fish of the day is will be a good choice, especially grilled. Start with the antipasto plate, which will give a sampling of specialties to at least three people (or it could be a complete meal for one person!); the daily selection changes by the whim of the chef. The parmigiana di alici is a fresh-anchovy stuffed eggplant parmesan that is very tasty. For pastas, the spaghetti with the colatura di alici is a revelation, the centuries-old tradition for the anchovy sauce is made in-house. The genovese di tonno is a seafood take on a Neapolitan meat dish, the sweet onions and tuna coming together perfectly, you'll want to lick the plate. The main course fish dishes are simply done to bring out the best flavors. Save room for desserts, which are made in-house. Select one of the area's natural wines. We return regularly here because it's always perfect!

This place has an incredible atmosphere with light music and nice view! Service is great and food is so delicious! I would recommend fried seafood, because they prepare fish that they catch the same day! Also the variation of wines is perfect! 🤩

I had a very good seafood pasta here for lunch! Service was very quick, and our waitress was very friendly!

Delicious and fresh food, sweet and friendly staff. The spaghetti in the anchovie sauce is a must, the tiramisu was Divine. Want to Good back to try the pizza and special eggplant and chocolate dessert. They take credit cards and cash and the fabulous Estefanie spoke English, and menu also comes with English translation.

Went here on recommendation, ordered to much, the portions were too big but everything was worth it

Un ristorante che ho sempre amato, sono quasi 10 anni che consiglio vivamente questo posto, frequentato sempre con pranzo domenicale accompagnato dalla mia nonna. Presente in una piazzetta silenziosa e romantica, il proprietario una persona per bene e cordiale davvero simpatica.
L arredo caratteristico e ricercato con tutti dettagli caratteristici dei noti ceramisti amalfitani.
Qualità e prezzo ottimi considerando anche la freschezza del prodotto.
Che dire 10/10.

Simpatico locale in un angolino di una piazzetta dello spettacolare paesino di Vietri sul mare. Buoni in generale i sapori, che lasciano capire la terra e il mare del luogo. Solo alcune foto perché non sto sempre a far fotografie ai piatti ma

Sono stato ieri cioè domenica 28 gennaio in questa osteria ,a pranzo con mia moglie e mio figlio piccolo ,giornata di sole e Vietri piena di turisti sembrava agosto ,dopo vari tentativi di pranzare in un ristorante giù a Marina di Vietri andati a male perché tutti pieni , fortunatamente riesco a prendere un tavolo in questa splendida osteria,si mangia benissimo,si paga il giusto ,ritornerò sicuramente

Ho cenato tante volte in questo ristorante sin dalla sua apertura e ci torno sempre volentieri. Il cibo è spettacolare, tutto, dai primi ai secondi alla pizza. Consiglio caldamente la genovese di tonno e le bruschette con burro e alici. Il locale è carino e molto curato, il personale attento e cortese, la lista dei vini ottima e una menzione particolare va al proprietario, Matteo, che è super!

Ho avuto il piacere di pranzare all’osteria sesta stazione e sono rimasto particolarmente colpito. L'atmosfera era accogliente e romantica, perfetta per una giornata speciale. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con il personale che si è dimostrato gentile, attento e sempre disponibile alle nostre richieste. Il menu era creativo e le porzioni abbondanti. La presentazione dei piatti era un'autentica opera d'arte. In particolare ho assaggiato antipasto misto caldi e freddi due assaggi di primo un ai frutti di mare e l’altro al baccalà ed è stata un'esperienza culinaria straordinaria. Gli ingredienti erano freschi e di alta qualità e il sapore era semplicemente delizioso. Consiglio vivamente questa location a tutti gli amanti della cucina marinara italiana autentica."

Alla splendida giornata di sole si è aggiunta la piacevole scoperta di questo locale curato nei particolari all'esterno e all'interno, stile costiero ma raffinato, con i colori tipici di Vietri. Ma quel che più conta alla "Sesta stazione" è la cucina, con utilizzo di prodotti freschi e di prima qualità, le porzioni sono generose. Discrezione e gentilezza del proprietario e un applauso bisogna farlo al giovane cuoco! Locale pulito, compreso il bagno. Sicuramente ci torneremo con i nostri amici!
