Villa Lettieri Praiano

Bella location con tutti i Confort e con la chicca di una grande vasca idromassaggio sul terrazzo con panorama mozzafiato. Svegliarsi la mattina con il sole che ti bacia mentre sei a mollo con le bollicine e le barche ti salutano dall'azzurro mare, è impagabile!

We stayed at this apartment for a week. The place is in need of revamping to be listed in airbnb at $400/night. Bathrooms were missing toilet paper, lots of burned light bulbs and dirty lamp covers. Quite a bit of broken tile floors which were hazardous to walk. Mold in bathroom ceilings, and the likes. The worst part was that we rented this apartment based on the pictures shown on airbnb. We love entertaining friends with barbecues at our home in the States. We rented two homes in the south of Italy specifically with a pool and a large outdoor charcoal grill, where we were planning to invite several Italian friends flying from Milan. We were shocked to find out at arrival that the nice grill you see in the pictures and the long cutting marble counter are not there. There is also NO SWIMMING POOL at this home. I understand that the listing reads ‘villa with a SPA pool’, but when you search and filter for homes with a pool, not a hot tub, this apartment pops up. When we questioned the hostess about these issues, she apologized, said we could swim in the hot-tub, and brought us a cheap portable grill IN A BOX! Expecting us to take over an hour to assemble it while on our vacation at the apartment that was supposed to have a built-in charcoal grill to begin with. This is also not a villa, but rather an apartment. The nice blue and quaint veranda you see by the ocean was also removed and replaced with an acrylic wall.

We also never heard from Umberto Lettieri. A lady named Felicia would answer, most times with short texts. She would never pick up my calls and ask that I text her our requests/questions.

We would have not been disappointed with Umberto’s apartment had we known before booking that there was no swimming pool, brick made barbecue grill, no nice counter on the patio, and that this was an actual apartment and not a villa.

He advertises parking for a €20/day, but we were charged €25/day at arrival.

The advertising pictures you see here are false, misleading and deceptive which will cause the average consumer to act in a way they might otherwise not.
