Castello Federiciano di Roseto Capo Spulico

Beautiful spot. We didn't go in cos they wanted to charge for entry. We had tea on the terrace. The lemon tea was glorious!
The beach and rock formation was breath taking

Once in a lifetime experience! Incredible dinner, amazing staff, very helpful with my broken Italian. We ate Antipasti, first and second course, and enjoyed every bite! Please see the attached photo of my husband looking at his dinner the way he looks at our daughter, lol. And to top that off, since we were on our honeymoon, we were offered a private after-hours tour of the castle. It was gorgeous, and Jucy (spelling, Im sorry) was absolutely delightful. The whole team went above and beyond. AND DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN BOOK THE SUITE AT THE TOP OF THE CASTLE? TO SLEEP IN!?

Lovely town and sea front walk to this old castle. Not open to public as is a restaurant. Loved the mushroom rock one the sea shore. Built my own rock stack.

Nice relaxing cafe as part of the historic castle. They have typical tourist menu: coffee, ice cream, etc. As far as I remember from the tour, it was built originally in 10xx as a monastery, then in 12xx it was converted to a castle. This place can also be used for special events like birthday party or wedding.
The coolest thing is that it's right on the edge of the clients and had amazing view of the sea, clear water, and beaches. You can get down to the beach right there.

Lovely atmosphere and water. Always one of my favourite beach places in north Calabria.

Amazing place to go for a swim

Usually restaurants attached to beautiful castles are a disappointment compared to the surroundings. HOWEVER, the restaurant here is as amazing as the well preserved castle it is attached to. Highly recommend a visit, everything on the menu is worth writing home about.

We un expectidly stopped off for a quick bite in castle on the beach. Wow!!!
