Wonderful location right at the sea. Private beach, big swimming pool and amazing pizza bar! Toilets and showers clean and hot water available with no restrictions. Highly recommend it! The staff was welcoming and we highly appreciated their assistance 😊

My partner and I stayed here for a night on our Italian road trip and were so wonderfully surprised at this slice of paradise.

The camp is well equiped for camping, but this night we took a room. It was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but a beautiful old building and well looked after.

The pizza restaurant was wonderful and the homemade pizza was made in a wood oven in front of us.
We had croissants in the morning, also fresh from the oven.

There is a huge swimming pool and also direct beach access off the back of the property.
The beach is clean and not full of people.

Although I don’t speak Italian, all the staff and community were very accommodating and happy to receive us, they made a huge effort to speak to us in English and make us feel welcome.

First of all, I must admit that I did not want to write this review.

I wanted to keep this place a secret.

I wanted to keep it all to myself as my family’s secret vacation home in Italy and never tell anyone.

This place is the true definition of a hidden gem. We had an entire private beach to ourselves. A private beach where, every single night, the sun sets behind Mt. Stromboli creating a picture perfect, breathtaking moment that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

They have an amazing Olympic sized pool. It has to be the cleanest hotel / resort pool that I have ever seen.

The property has a well stacked bar that serves coffee and drinks as well as snacks and different items you made need while on vacation.

One of the highlights is a beautiful wood fired pizza oven and one of the best pizza makers I have encountered on my travels abroad. The man is an artist. There is no other way to say it. The best pizza we had in Italy.

The room we stayed in had a beautiful kitchen on the back porch and nice comfy beds inside. The bathrooms were bigger and cleaner then any other hotel that I stayed at in Europe. The villa homes are a beautiful scenic 1-2 minute walk from to the white sand private beach.

They have a tennis court and a bunch of activities for the guest to enjoy but honestly the best part of my stay here wasn’t the room or the accommodations it was the family that owns the place.

Europe can be rough for Americans. Italy can get hectic and crazy and be a bit overwhelming. I was mentally drained after leaving Rome and traveling the Amalfi Coast. I was searching and praying for that Italy you read about in books and see in tv and I thought I’d never find it until I arrived here.

This family has been serving people for generations and it shows. Their hospitality and kindness cannot be matched. It’s not fake, you can tell it’s authentic. You can feel their love for the area and the village and you can’t help but to want to become part of it as well.

You can tell their whole heart and soul has gone into making this place the gem that it is. I loved my time here and cannot wait to return.

Until then I will dream about eating a Calabrese pizza with an ice cold Messina Beer.

Their Italian hospitality was 5 star! From the private villa with and outdoor kitchen, to the beach access just steps away and ristorante in our backyard with the freshest pizza right out the wood burning oven, there is no wonder we did not want to leave. The family shared their history, their local tastes and welcomed us in to experience how they enjoy their summer nights. We ate, we drank, we laughed, we watched a movie in Italian, we bathed in the sun and sea and best of all we learned so much. We will back!!!

We stayed there for a night on our Italy road trip. Nice place with swimming pool. We loved the wooden oven pizza there. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room where we stayed was also proper with a kitchen. Overall a good place and highly recommended.

We organised our trip to Calabria very last minute in August 2021 and most of the campings in Capo Vaticano were fully booked, so we drove down the coast and found this magical place. We stayed 2 nights with a small car and a tent. and the price was quite cheap. The camping is located on the beach, which is perfect for watching either the sunrise or the sunset with a direct view on the Stromboli volcano. We really appreciated the calm and relaxing atmosphere of this place. There is a small pizzeria if like us you are sometimes a bit lazy to cook, and a swimming pool if you want to take a break from the beach. The owner Agostino was so welcoming and he took care of us from the beginning to the end of our stay. Thank you very much for these unforgettable memories, we will be back on our next trip to Calabria.

Actually we wanted to spend only one night at this place but we ended up staying 4 nights there ^^ we just fall in love with this place.. I'll start with the family: the family who runs this camping place is super friendly and really nice people and make you feel very comfortable to talk with or just being around them and they just behaves very naturally the 🇮🇹 behaves :) and we really like that 😍🤗
The camping place is very nice and very calm and also have a very nice location and nice beach :) The beach and sea are really amazing! The beach is withesandy and quiet wide and not crowded at all so that everyone can find a place to relax, play or workout. It is especially qiet in the morning and evening time and a perfect place to meditate, practice Yoga or do some workout. The sunsets at the beach are amazingly beautiful. At dawn you can watch the red sun dropping into the blue water. It is also nice to take a walk along the beach to the next small village. Nicotera offers a couple of restaurant, a small supermarket and some bars :) you can also go by car for a short trip to Scilla which is a really beautifull city or
go a bit further to Lungomare Falcomatà. Tropea is also a worthy trip or you just explore yourself and make your own experience :)
In the evening we recommend you to have a cold beer at the bar and eat a deliciouse Pizza made by the friendly and heartily cook Abdul
in a traditional pizza oven with wood fire 🔥🍕🇮🇹😋😋 For vegans and vegetarians here- just ask and the cook will give you options! The vegetables are self grown in the familys gardens. You can also ask for house made wine and olive oil. We also want to say at this point that you can always ask the family here for advice or in case you need something.
The camping place is of course animal friendly.
We will definitly come back and untill then we wish the family all the best!

Nice and clean camping. We liked it because the host was very friendly and cared a lot about us. It is located directly at the wonderful beach. We would come back again.

Un campeggio meraviglioso. Abbiamo ricevuto un'accoglienza molto calorosa. Agostino e Giacomo sono persone meravigliose e cordiali. Il posto è bellissimo, ben tenuto. La spiaggia è meravigliosa. Ai nostri cani e gatti è stato permesso di muoversi liberamente e hanno fatto amicizia con Maika, il cane del proprietario. Torneremo molto presto e non possiamo che consigliare vivamente questo posto ❤ Sandra e Thomas

Sehr schöner Campingplatz mit wunderbarem Strand und großem Schwimmbad. Wir wurden sehr herzlich vom Besitzer und seiner Mutter empfangen, obwohl noch Vorsaison war, wurde extra die Pizzeria für uns eröffnet und wir durften wunderbare Pizzen hu genießen. Es war sicher nicht das letzte Mal, dass wir dort gecampt haben.

Campingplatz direkt erste Strandlage und ein 25m Schwimmbecken. Abends gibt es leckere Pizza. Augustino ist ein toller Gastgeber!

Vorrei su questa struttura dire tantissime cose tutte in positivo ovviamente .........ma vorrei potermi spiegare per far capire a tutti di cosa parliamo, con due piccole ma grandi parole definendolo; angolo di paradiso con dentro i suoi angeli di gentilezza e di cordialità,in modo particolare il signor Agostino e la sua bellissima famiglia! Una volta che sei li ne esci rigenerato con le sue bellissime casette in oasi di pace sono così vicine ad un mare cristallimo, che la sera puoi addormentarti col suono delle onde, e di una piscina così bella e pulita che non puoi resistere al solo guardarla di volerti tuffare!!!! E vogliamo parlare della pizza? Mmmmmm parola di Napoletano veramente buona e cotta con un bel forno a legna!!!! Non voglio più prolungarmi perché le foto parlano da sé. Spero di ritornarci al più presto insieme ai miei amici e alla mia famiglia

La Ginestra è una sintesi quasi perfetta della Calabria bella e affascinante. Nella Ginestra ci sono varie peculiarità a partire dalla meravigliosa vista mare con spiaggia bianca ad uso del villaggio esclusivo. L'ambiente, la natura, i bungalow semplici, accoglienti e ben strutturati e la piscina da 25 metri con acqua cristallina fanno della Ginestra un'oasi di bellezza, pace e qualità della vita. A questo si aggiungono la gentilezza dei proprietari pronti a soddisfare il cliente in ogni momento. Una scelta ottimale! Complimenti per tutto.

Lugar perfecto para pasar unos días con la autocaravana.Acceso directo a una playa espectacular con un hermoso atardecer. Piscina de 25 metros perfecta para nadar y bañarse,con gran número de hamacas.El personal genial,desde la recepción,pasando por el encargado de ayudarte a aparcar la auto y el resto del personal de mantenimiento. Amantes de los perros,pueden estar por el camping sin problema. El camping se ve seguro, con cámaras y personal pendiente.Para repetir👏👏👍👍

Disponibilità e cortesia sono di casa nel "Villaggio la Ginestra" per questo vanno i complimenti per la gestione, ottima ristorazione e pizza favolosa cucinata nel forno a legna.
La piscina ha un fascino unico, molto grande, con bagnini e staff cortesi e professionali, con acqua sempre cristlina e pulitissima.
La spiaggia si descrive da sola..dove si può ammirare un tramonto,oppure un'alba, fantastico/a con vista sulle isole Eolie.

Bellissimo villaggio ideale per rilassarsi in una location tranquilla e molto bella. Dal villaggio stesso si accede alla spiaggia sabbiosa molto grande con vista sulle isole Eolie e la Sicilia. Piscina (stupenda) per adulti e bambini con tutti i servizi disponibili anche per chi pensa di soggiornare in tenda o camper.
Ci siamo trovati molto bene con personale molto disponibile e gentile. Presente bar e pizzeria aperta la sera anche se su prenotazione a pranzo ed è possibile richiedere panini, insalate e piatti veloci.
