We were delighted by our dinner at Trattoria La Coccinella. Like many restaurants from the Osteria d'Italia guide, Trattoria La Coccinella serves beautifully prepared local specialities like vitello tonnato and tajarin as well as wonderful local wines. But what made it really stand out were the excellent seafood and vegetable dishes. The staff was warm and welcoming and the view from the outdoor seating was gorgeous. We had a fantastic time and look forward to returning.

We had an excellent dinner at La Coccinella. The place was full but the owner made some room for us at the table in the entrance room so that we could enjoy our meal without disturbing the other guests. There were two menus, one with fish and seafood, one with meat. We ordered a couple of things from each menu and each dish was great.
The wine options are great too as you would expect from a restaurant in this area.

Friendly staff. Great food. Formal but cosy setting, the real fire place is wonderful for a winter's night. The seafood tasting is a good option, after all the meat on piedmont.

Sensational local Piemontese food. Very friendly owners and staff (speak also flawless English and German). We highly recommend their exceptional mushroom (porcini) dishes.
