What a place! Coffee at open terace above 3000 meters high.

Amazing view with nice authentic bar.

It has still the memories of James Bond's For your eyes only. Not much changed which is why I love this place ;)

Spectacular views & pizza! Great for those skiing but also accessible via the cable car 🚠 ❄

We took three cable cars to get to the top and it was absolutely worth it! The view was incredible and is definitely a must see.
For those who have a slight fear of heights:
The first two cable cars are quite long hauls but doesn't climb so much in terms of altitude and was quite alright (it was only a bit scary). However the last one is a tough one because it covers a lot of altitude and gives the impression of going straight up along the mountainside towards the end. If it's cloudy you'll be disappearing into the clouds without seeing where you're going at all... Which was very uncomfortable (but also cool) so high up - the same thing goes for back down again.
The drivers was cool though and tried to cheer me up and make me laugh when I was holding on for my dear life inside the cable car. 10/10 would do it again.

With this view it was the best cappuccino coffee in the world

Nice place at the finish of ferrata to Tofana Di Mezzo summit. Cable car can help you with your way down.

Spettacolare bar-rifugio situato una cinquantina di metri sotto alla cima della possente Tofana di Mezzo (3244m), facilmente raggiungibile con la funivia Freccia nel Cielo, direttamente da Cortina d'Ampezzo. Locale ben curato, in pietra e legno, magari un po' austero, ma accogliente e con una signora gentile al bancone. Il punto di forza è la meravigliosa terrazza che consente una vista assolutamente imperdibile su tutta la conca di Cortina, scendendo giù fino a fine vallata. Visibili le Dolomiti di Sesto, Sorapis, Antelao, il pian Falzarego, e le restanti Dolomiti della zona. Tramite comodi camminatoi è possibile andare nella parte posteriore del bar in cui vedere val Travenanzes e tutto il gruppo del Conturines. Peccato che le nuvole abbiamo talmente inglobato la cima da rendere ardue anche le foto da vicino, ma rendendo tutto ancora più suggestivo e ovattato.

Cima Tofana (Tofana di Mezza) is één van die locaties boven de 3.000 meter die elke liefhebber van de Dolomieten bezocht moet hebben. Op deze hoogte is het landschap bijzonder ruig en is wandelen zonder goed materieel simpelweg onverantwoord.

Dat daar gelaten... wouw! Dit is echt hoog :-) !! 3.244 meter, en als je te voet verder gaat kom je nóg hoger! Laat de foto's hun werk doen en besluit of je dit ook niet zelf wilt beleven.

Oh ja! Een leuk weetje is toch wel dat een scene uit de James Bond film uit 1981 "For Your Eyes Only" hier werd opgenomen.

Panorama mozzafiato, su più valli. Facilmente raggiungibile con la funivia, è certamente indicato per una colazione unica al mondo. Se il tempo lo permette consiglio la terrazza, ma anche la sala interna è molto accogliente. I prezzi sono incredibilmente onesti, è il mangiare è di qualità

En espaktulær opplevelse. Fantastisk utsikt som bare tar pusten fra deg.

Bar d'alta quota davvero eccezionale. La vista é una cosa inspiegabile a parole. Arrivando sulla cima di può osservare la Marmolada e in lontananza addirittura il monte più alto di tutta l'Austria.

Ambiente accogliente e ordinato. È possibile acquistare dei souvenir. Il servizio è stato buono e la signora è molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo preso due toast e il caffè ed è stato tutto buono.
